chewitt that looks promising but when I try to download the file associated with FORMAT tool I just get "Error transferring ...", and I can't find that format file on the download sections. Any suggestions?

Sorry, first post, and just trying to try out LibreElect.

I have a new Lexar 32 GB micro SD card and a Pi 2 model b. I used the SD creator and the result was a 8GB partition and a 0GB partion of some sort. The bigger problem is nothing boots. I tried using this technique: https://www.blackmoreops.com/2017/11/15/for…-in-windows-10/ to "clean" the partition. I was able to clean the 8GB partition but for the 0GB it just says "no media". Anyways I thought I would try SD creator on the 8GB partition again. This time I needed to run in administrator mode but was able to write the image again to that partition. But still nothing boots. I have another OSMC card that does continue to boot so the Pi is fine.

Can someone tell me where I went wrong and whether the SD card is salvageable? Thank you.
