If you’re using Windows 10 download the tar, use 7 Zip to unpack it and Win32 Disk Image to write it to SD card. You might want to use SD Formatter to ensure the SD card is spotless before starting though.

That was inevitable. The majority of users complaining about video quality annd don’t supply logs invariably are using banned addons and omit to include logs in the hope that some user might resolve their issue without one.

LE 10.0.5???
The logs should be interesting when he gets around to supplying them 😂

It seems to be a major bug in the AddOn Repository, which is currently broken for Raspberry Pis. There are as well AddOns, which can´t be installed due to unsatisfied dependencies and additionally it seems not be possible to install these dependencis by manually downloading the AddOns as zip file (the correct one, not the android version I used above).
@ForumMods: It is currently not helpful to wait for moderation, as many users obviously have the same problem.
I reckon if you keep that attitude up you’ll be left on your own. Do you realise that all this work is done voluntarily. I’m sure the guys will not be too worried about your first world problems. They are well aware of the problem and no doubt will resolve it in due course when they are ready. Your post is not one bit helpful.

The general advice here to owners of USB DVB devices is to set it up on a separate system with whatever Linux distro works best for it and have it feeding your LE system. You won’t have to worry about breaking drivers with every kernel update. You can lock your system kernel on the board that has your 935c attached and not have to worry about it.

I'm having a rockpro64 myself and actually can't reproduce this with my board.
Could you pls add drm.debug=0xe in extlinux.conf and run pastkodi after a reboot?I reverted to 10.04 and have no spare SD cards available at the moment to try your suggestion. As soon as I get a new delivery of SD cards I’ll try it again. At least I know it is booting successfully on the RockPro64.

Did a fresh install of Nexus 11 on the RockPro64 (RK3399). Boots to LE splash screen, resizes the file system, announces a reboot and then hangs.
I can manually reboot but it is grabbing a 1920x1200 HDMI setting instead of the usual 1920x1080 and continues with the boot with sound but a black screen. Tried a number of times with different HDMI cables. Same result.
Looks like EDID is not being being recognised correctly on initial boot. No such issue with 10.04 stable.
I just reverted to 10.04 and all is well. I’m just reporting my findings in case it’s useful to anyone.

You could try this route. Live USB boot modes, LibreElec on x86_64. WiFi AP, DNS.

This is not an LE issue and it’s late in the evening but I suggest a bit of research on the net should yield a solution. Here’s something to get you started https://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/3150…-bad-superblock
Make sure you read through that link entirely before jumping in with the first solution and do it with a clear head possibly tomorrow

Attach the disk to a separate Linux system. You’ll have better success recovering the files. Plenty of recovery tools available to do the job
. Testdisk is probably your best bet. Definitely sounds like your disk is on its way out. https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tuto…r-deleted-files

Grasshopper , I haven't a sdcard for that at the moment, I'll try at soon as possibile.
dtech , flash drive is not working. I was persuaded usb works fine, because I saw PS/2 mouse dmesg line, but LE print that line without mouse attached too, so this means nothing about usb. And mouse doesn't work anyway.
petediscrete , maybe you are right, and I have to choose a different way on this.
Anyway, thank you all guys for your support
I always try where possible to integrate every component of my HTPC into one unit but seriously DVB drivers on Linux are a minefield. Luckily I use DVBS so I could go the Sat>IP route so no dependence on DVBS drivers on my setup. I understand how you feel trying to get this setup working with LE but believe me it will fry your brains.

Personally I’d get that DVBT tuner working on a separate board and use it as a server via TVH to serve your LE board as a client. Even if you do get it working attached to the LE board the next upgrade will probably break the drivers. It’s just not worth the trouble.

I wouldn’t even consider Wi-Fi when it comes to video and Kodi. Too many external sources of possible interference to consider.

If you’re installing anything for a 3rd party particularly one that is miles from you and/or is elderly you need to lock everything down like an appliance module. You’re only asking for hours of headaches if you have auto updates enabled unless you have remote access to it for maintenance reasons. Remember all they care about is what’s on the channel and not what’s under the hood.

Just an update on the Telestar Digibit Twin. Arrived after 5 business days. Surprised to see the outer casing is aluminium. Plastic mostly these days.
Took about 40 minutes to setup on the RockPro64 with LE 10.0.03 with TVH backend server and TVH front end client. TVH immediately recognised two tuners. I configured LNB1 in TVH remotely and started a scan of Astra 28.2. Scan completed and all channels were eventually found. Played SD HD and 4k streams with hardware acceleration no problem.
I will say it’s not the most sensitive tuner I’ve ever come across but for the money I now have a functioning DVBS tuner on an SBC without the worry of having to recompile drivers every time there’s an update.
I’d certainly recommend it over a USB DVBS tuner and possibly some of the PCIe solutions out there. I purchased it via eBay from this shop for anyone who is interested

Ooh.. just seen the Digibit Twin. That would work well for me.
Still awaiting delivery of the Digibit Twin so if and when it arrives I’ll set it up and report back here with the findings and where I purchased it from. Don’t pull the purchase trigger just yet 😂

Is it a HP by any chance.
-
keep me posted, never saw any feedback about the twin
Will do. The R1 has been well commented on. I’m not generally pessimistic but when the Twin arrives at the door I’ll believe it 😂
