Do you have enough storage space available to do a backup

I think it is related to pvr.hts. Rolled back to 21.0.1-Omega and it seems better, but it will take a few days of regular usage to be sure. Which is odd, because I see no functional change. I also rolled back InputStream Adaptive to 21.1.3.1.
I’ve had endless problems with that add on recently, certainly when I changed to Nexus. I reckon the add on needs a bit of work if the issues I’m reading about are anything to go by.

Hi,
When I restored CE backup on LE, I did it complete with all addons and settings. With option to make restore inside of LE settings.
I use TVhedednd 4.3 with icam patch.
When I installed fresh LE, i just installed this TVH (used in CE) and nothing else. This is TVh I installed: https://temp-file.org/s65xwrZiz1AMOOp/file
Just curious. In the About tab of the TVH UI what version does it report.

I have not. I almost haven't tried the official version yet. If the official version does everything I want it to I'm not sure why I would try the community version. We'll see.
Nightly updates. Staying on top of latest developments, bug fixes etc etc. I was purely suggesting a route you could take. You’re happy with what you’re using until you’re not. It’s up to you.

Ok so I tried a different HDMI cable, a Deltaco "HDMI Premium certified cable"/"HDMI High Speed with Ethernet"/"4K UHD 60 Hz" one, and now things seem to work on both LE11 and LE10. Including CEC.
First glance: 1080p@25 Hz H.264 and H.265 looks flawless (and skipping is much faster than with the RPi2 I used before!). Even 1440p@50 Hz scaled to my TV's 1080p resolution looks great! (Again at first glance.)
Have you tried the community version.

Yes, in TVHeadend with the web player playing Live TV works, as well as with VLC. This issue does not exist with video files or any of the video addons (Amazon VOD, Netflix, Disney+, Youtube).
Thanks for the tip to ask in the Arch Linux and Kodi forums, not done so far.
You’ve probably narrowed it down to a possible LAN issue. Assuming Arch would support an installation of Kodi locally try installing Kodi on your local server and evaluate the performance of Live TV there.
You don’t mention if you are using WiFi anywhere between the Server and client. If so replace it with a wired connection. I’ve seen the spinning wheel behaviour and the lack of channels quite often with a WiFi connection.
-
Have you played Live TV directly in TVH and checked for signal quality and possible frame dropping. I’m assuming video files in LE are playing ok. Have you YouTube installed in LE. If so is that playing ok.
Without having your system in front of me it’s sound like some form of buffering issues. I’m not too familiar with Arch Linux so I’m just guessing what the problem could be here. Have you tried in the Kodi and Arch Linux forums for possible solutions.

Could you provide a little more detail on your Live TV setup. You say you are running the server on a separate RPI. A little more detail on the hardware and OS you are using on that side. What type of router are you using.
You don’t mention what skin you use. Try a few different skins as a test to see if it solves the problem.

Not related directly to your board but many of the Rock64 boards exhibited similar symptoms. I do not advise this fix but it appeared that the solder points of the Ethernet socket had loosened somehow and when the board heated through use the intermittent on/off behaviour started. I used a resolder flow to correct the problem and it never returned.
Again I stress do not attempt this repair unless you are very familiar with soldering techniques. I’m not saying your Ethernet port is loose but try reading up on this problem and see for yourself though.

HP did the same a while back with its 6500 chip on the Elite Desk and Pro Desk range The 6500T was definitely a scaled back version so you may well be right https://www.notebookcheck.net/6500-vs-6500T_…5.247596.0.html

Be careful of large capacity SD cards. They are a prime target for the fake card industry. If you search this forum you’ll find one user that had nothing but problems with LE on a 256gb SD card.

Thanks.
So, it tried both USB2 and USB3 ports, it's the same.
When I boot from a current raspios (Release date: May 3rd 2023, System: 32-bit, Kernel version: 6.1, Debian version: 11 (bullseye)) the interface not only doens't crash but actually play audio.
Unfortunately not. It's exactly the same.
That’s good. You’ve ruled out a faulty unit so it appears it’s down to a kernel/driver issue in LE. I’ve tried many DACs with LE and I must admit none of them have had any issues working. When you hot plug the unit what are you seeing from dmesg output.
-
Have you tried alternating USB ports when plugging in the unit, USB 2/USB3. Have you confirmed the unit is actually functioning as it should. Try powering on the RPI4 first then hook up the unit.

Thanks for the tip. I was having trouble navigating the way to the right build. Finally managed to try the 08 31 build on the Lenovo. Good news is wifi is functional but I had problems with everything I tried. Confluence skin when I clicked on LE settings it hung up and reverted to original skin. I couldn't enter the location for the weather either. Video for this version using Confluence was interesting too. Move the mouse and static on the screen. I know it's work in progress so I will to hold off and use the Windows version (yuk) till this gets sorted out.
Most of the problems you are experiencing are not unique to you and most likely have been experienced by others who have been provided with a solution here.
Directly in Google search enter the word LibreElec followed by your problem and you’ll nearly be guaranteed to find an answer.
I’d usually recommend doing a fresh install when things are getting messy with addons.
Decide on what you want on your system before you do the install rather than throwing the kitchen sink at LE in the hope it might work.
Don’t quit and walk away hoping someone else will solve the issue for you. Users have an important part to play by providing feedback to developers. This way everyone wins as we are all contributing to the project.

Thanks again for your efforts. I'm a bit lost on where to find and download the nightly 12.0 package.
Try do a little searching on the forum
ThreadIs it possible to point LE to the nightly update channel for LE12 ?
As the title says really, save me on time SSHing releases over to test new featuressunlollykingMay 2, 2023 at 4:07 PM -
For TVH frontend you will find this add on in the Services section in LE. You’ll need to install this add on first and configure it remotely. Once you have the configuration complete you can then install the TVH frontend which you will find in the PVR clients section of LE. This can be configured in the LE GUI.
I suggest doing a backup of your original LE if required and do a fresh install of LE 11.0.3. Once that’s complete the correct add ons will be found in the repository.

I can't find the PVR TVHeadend client in the warehouse.I can't use TVHeadend 43 when there is no pvr htsp client. Will PVR HTS client plugin come to the warehouse?
There is no PVR HTS Client in the warehouse of these daily versions.

I assume you mean the repository. Are you looking in the correct section under Services.
