Unless you want to intentionally break internal tuner support and connect superior USB Dual Tuner DVB's to the Play2.

I can look at a standard 64bit media_build for the WeTek Hub. Now we have the 64bit memory allocation problem fixed. This would then be compatible with the official 64bit LibreELEC Hub builds, so users can flip between them easily if they wish.

You are not right. Internal tuner support is possible move to media_build to avoid build conflict. I already done it for KI Plus.

I don't know nothing about my tutorial. Hardly to help you without knowing your actual setup. But anyway, for best result use hdmi connection, no dvi or analog.
    In Player sttings -> Videos:
    - Adjust display refresh rate : On start/stop
    - Sync playback to display : off
    - Allow hardware acceleration - amcodec: On
    - Accelerate MPEG2: Always
    - Accelerate MPEG$: Always
    - Accelerate h264: Always

    In System settings -> Display:
    - Refresh rate: TV refresh rate in your country, in Europe 50 Hz

pvr.hts-4.0.6.zip is buggy. Use pvr.hts - 3.4.16.1 from LibreELEC repository.

Same issue in both pvr.hts. Sometimes kodi after buffering is unable starts playback. But pvr thinks it did. This status is permanent and switching channel doesn't help. Starting playback from other source (e.g. play movie from hd) fix this status. It must be bug in kodi or in pvr addon.

this is what i get when tuning to a dvb-c channel. It is the same with VDR and w_scan.

I prepared special build with new driver. I tested dvb-t and dvb-c successfully. Dvb-s still not working, work in progress to fix dvb-s.

    LibreELEC-S905.arm-8.0-devel-7.95.beta5X-20170207093751.img.gz

Pls, test it and let me know.

I install LibreELEC-Amlogic.aarch64-KI_Plus-7.0.2.004.4, this old version.
The dvb-s with oscam work with this version. Sadly usb dvb-t isnt support with this version. But when i restore tvheadend settings from wetek, i can use dvb-t too with oscam.

I dont know why, but oscam+tvh work only with this old version together, but i cannot know the reason.

So something broke with bump to libreelec 8.

Pls make me favour and do clean installation:

    service.tvheadend42-8.1.109.zip
    pvr.hts.4.0.6.zip
    service.softcam.oscam-8.1.103.zip
    service.system.pcscd-addon-8.1.0.zip

and test for me pcscd-addon if card-reader is working.

this is what i get when tuning to a dvb-c channel. It is the same with VDR and w_scan.

THX. I see there is a issue with tuning DVB-C channels.

    Update version 7.95.beta5b in #1.

There is playback fix by removed waiting for a key frame in Amlogic decoder. Probably will fix channel switching issue.
In my short testing channel switching looks reliable now. - issue still persist.

VDR is working again with your new version (2017-02-05), thanks a lot!

dvb-c is not working with VDR, i get the following messages:

    Code
    Feb 06 12:28:28 k1plus vdr[3748]: [3788] frontend 0/0 timed out while tuning to channel 47 (Disney SD), tp 450

    Feb 06 12:29:01 k1plus kernel: i2c i2c-1: avl6862_set_frontend: set DVBC ok! ret = 0

How can i debug this further?

if i understood you correctly, this is now the current version of the linux media_build driver? So the driver is open source now?

To debug driver from ssh use following commands:

    Code
    echo 1 > /sys/module/avl6862/parameters/debug_avl
while true; do dmesg -c ; sleep 1; done

My tuner isn't working in the latest version, I know some tuners aren't working I'm just showing which one it is.

It's an August T210 that uses Geniatech T230 drivers Geniatech T230 - LinuxTVWiki

I've got same issue with latest build:

but I can with w_scan scan channels:

To fix this problem, use my build from :[7.95.beta5] LibreELEC 8.0 builds for KI Plus / KII Pro
If is same as kszaq's only adding support for internal dvb tuner. Also install tvheadend42 + pvr.hts from this post.

kszaq: I have two differences in my build:
    1. Amlogic I2C support is necessary for internal dvb driver;
    2. I had issue with patches to compile latest media_build. To fix it I temporary deleted media_build-02-add-to-backports.patch

Tvheadend HTSP Client 3.4.16.1 (installed from LE repository) do not work with fixed version service.tvheadend42-8.1.109.zip -> error message: Acces denied
and do not work with downloadable version from LE repository (same error message)

It was also the same as the previous fixed version tvheadend42 (.108)

However service.tvheadend42-8.1.107.zip and pvr.hts-3.4.12.zip work very well

New version pvr.hts-4.0.6.zip in first post.

Do I have to do anything more to make this work DVB-C on Kii besides including dtb.img for kii??? I had just tested it on dvb-c network with tvheadend working version indicated on the post from that zip file.

For testing you need only latest LibreELEC version (7.95.beta5). In tvheadend you have to create dvb-c mux best matching to your dvb-c provider and attach it to to dvb-c adapter. For testing disable all other avl6862 adapters or link them to dvb-c adapter. I only made blind copy of DVB-C support from TBS5520 (avl6882+r848) without any testing. Pls report testing results and attach log from tvheadend. Also run from ssh console w_scan. Copy attached version to /storage and submit following commands:

    Code
    chmod 0755 /storage/w_scan
    systemctl stop service.tvheadend42.service
    /storage/w_scan -!v -fc

In w_scan you can specify country -cAT for Austria, default is DE.
You will get something like this:

afl1 as usual, thanks for the update.
    this sentence still relevant?
    - Latest addon service Tvheadend42 is broken. Install fixed version service.tvheadend42-8.1.109.zip and disable auto-update.

    Yes.

    P.S.
My release is based on kszaq's 7.95.beta5 only adding internal driver as a loadable module. You can run my kerrnel.img with kszaq's SYSTEM and v/v with only one constraining, loosing support for internal dvb driver.
