First of all try running LE from SD card on that box. You may need to unlock the bootloader first. When choosing device tree, simply delete dtb.img from SD card with LE and do not download any other device tree.
Doesn't look like it's booting the card I'm assuming Xiaomi have some type of secure boot so bootloader has to be unlocked to boot unsigned code
I applied for bootloader unlock we'll see when I'll get word from Xiaomi

Nobody has ever tried this and no LibreELEC developer has it. We cannot tell.
There are several models of Mi Box you should post the exact model number
I attempted this build on my Xiaomi Mi Box 3(MDZ-16-AB) and I couldn't get it to boot maybe someone here can provide some instructions?
my plan was to flash TWRP and try to boot from there but the recent OTA update has blocked my root option until I find a way to bypass it
it seems to have good hardware but the support is really terrible Xiaomi doesn't provide any firmware images or support forum
