I keep getting this error in my Kodi log when trying to run an unofficial addon but it seems to work fine on my CoreELEC box so I'm wondering if its a Python issue or an issue with the addon itself. Chewitt have you got any idea if this would be an easy fix?

Addon is throwing

Error Type: <class 'AttributeError'>

Error Contents: module 'xbmcgui' has no attribute 'ACTION_SHOW_INFO'

edit: managed to solve it - turns out theres a change in xbmcgui in kodi20 so any calls to it need to be edited in the kodiutils.py of the addon and replaced with the constant values

edit: so it would seem that brcmfmac4334-sdio.bin is missing from the brcm folder in lib/firmware

I've been using meson-gxm-q200.dtb and not noticed it wasnt working cuz I had ethernet in the living room, let me just try a cheeky fresh sd install just to check but no wifi so far

edit: nope still no wifi on a fresh install, can confirm legacy coreelec wifi works just tried a fresh sd. is there a way I can tweak the dtb or something?

My S912 box doesn't have any wifi working so thought I'd query this with you guys as it worked under CE legacy before I started using LE - I've got a Kingbox K3 that I've now repurposed to the bedroom so no ethernet about there. As far as I know from freaktab threads the wifi chipset is an AP6335 so just wondering if its more feasible for me to just get a usb wifi dongle for it and if theres any recommendations for cheapo ones? Ive got an Asus USBN-10 which as far as I know has a Realtek RTL8188SU and it doesnt get detected - any advice?

Anyone still got one of the old py3.8 builds floating about? Builds are unusable with these addons causing crashes left right and centre

I've been getting constant crashes on latest generic amlgx build from chewitts repo which I've chalked up to Arctic Horizon and TMDBHelper after completely wiping my SD and starting from fresh then sifting through debug logs to try and nail the culprit down. Going to switch back to the stock skin for now but can anyone nail what's causing the crash from my logs?

chewitt maybe these files stay somewhere on the server and you could share?

Later releases are practically unusable, kodi crashes and reboots very often.

same here to be honest - rebooting after every episode watched so I switched to mainline nightlies instead

I tried this but EGL gives me more artefacts and glitching than Direct to Plane on certain videos.

Has anyone got a fix for the pink line issue? Getting a small line on the bottom for anything needing to be upscaled and a small green line for any videos that are downscaled to 1080p.
