My remote is a very basic (cheap) chinese PCRemote with basic functions (its designed for tv use).

I checked it with an old rpi2 and I dont have this issue...

I have a Rpi4 with last libreelec version, the machine is not starting when I leave conected an IR USB sensor for an external tv remote (I need it as my TV doesnt support CEC connection), I get a screen telling me to install an os.

Looks like its trying to boot from the IR sensor...

Chatgpt told me to modify config.txt but its not working.

Any ideas to solve this issue?.

I have an old Rpi2, the one without wifi antenna.

I have a TPLink usb wifi dongle (model TL-WN725N).

When I start Librelec, dongle led is not working and in the menu I cannot acces the wifi options (in my PC dongle works fine). That's why I think the dongle is not recognized by the rpi2 with the last version of librelec (11.0.3).

It's like going to the mechanic with the car, use the keys and the car won't start...

use "Settings > LibreELEC > System > Paste system logs" or run "pastekodi" over SSH, then post the URL link

I wasnt' able to get the logs, I checked the instructions but I couldn't do it...

The adapter is no longer recognized...

How can I get the logs?.

I bought a TP-Link wifi dongle for my first Rpi2 back in the days. The device always worked fine.

I bough a new Rpi3, and I wasn't using this Rpi2 anymore.

A few days ago I tried to use my old Rpi2, and after installing Libreelec, the usb wifi dongle didn't worked. It lools like the Rpi2 doen't recognize it (in my Windows PC works fine).

Anyone knows how to make it work again.

I have a Rpi4 (2GB) and I don't know if I have to set the resolution of librelec to 4k in order to enjoy 4k videos, if I have the resolution of libreelec in FullHD, will it play my 4k files in 4K???.

I'm asking this because I'm suffering some problems when I set my resolution to 4k and playing some videos (mainly 1080p files), some of them have "frames drops", it seems that it works better when the resolutions is set to FullHD.
