I think other way is waiting firmware update from Git repository and add it directly
iwlwifi-firmware/firmware at master · LibreELEC/iwlwifi-firmwarefiles used in the iwlwifi-firmware package. Contribute to LibreELEC/iwlwifi-firmware development by creating an account on GitHub.github.comI will test it now and reply if its work without any re-installation
