You need to update your DTB Index of /releases/dtb

SSH to your box and then do cat /proc/version

It is irrelevant really as all releases use the same kernel version, there will not be a switch to mainline kernel until H/W acceleration works and that is not going to be any time this year probably.

This is normal, Amlogic implementation of HDR is bad, nothing can be done, that's what you get for buying a $25 box.

Maybe this is the case with Kodi on Windows however LibreELEC is an OS running Kodi so this would be a feature request for LE to incorporate Java into it.

You are using wrong DTB possibly then use the q201 dtb which is for devices with 100mbit interface.

Don't be lazy creating remote config is very easy, post your exact errors as well if you want further help.

These releases are standard LibreELEC with some minor patches to Kodi, this feature request would be better requested here Feature Requests and also possibly on Kodi forums.

crazycat is included with the build now, you should just be able to enable it as per usual

As kszaq says it would be best PR'd to LE/master, my builds follow master very closely, if the changes are submitted to LE/master they will inevitably make their way into my builds.

Libwidevine is no longer provided automatically and you have to install it manually

sometimes DTB does not auto update if you shutdown incorrectly, flashing same zip again would have resolved your issue.

maybe this is a leftover from my 8.2 inplace upgrade? defined in /usr/share/kodi/addons/service.libreelec.settings/defaults.py

That's nothing to worry about it's for update channel, auto update still works.

If not wrong, if you drop the correct dtb.img in /update/ folder, while it reboots, the file got copied and replaced with the most recent version. - at least while you upgrade it does work ( if you put the .tar file remote.conf and dtb.img ) there. I think (assume) it should also work like this with only dtb.

Also in first post - its possible to do this by ssh and SD-Card

Btw, just noticed i cannot use the new DTB (for S905) with old 8.2.3.1 version kzaq, at least here on my KII Pro - if i do this, i loose remote.conf - and tried a tons of settings it was not possible to make remote work.

New DTB is for new release not old release! It's in the README!!!

I would appreciate some feedback from anybody with a S905W box with issues with interlaced content, I have added an option to disable aml deinterlacing to Kodi under Settings>System>Display, just enable the option at the bottom and reboot and then test the content.

No need for autostart.sh anymore so remove it if you have one.
