Thanks for the hint. I tried it with iwconfig. Selecting by channel works. Selecting by Access Point address did not work.
No option did offer to choose by wifi band.

So, as long as the 5-GHz channel is not changing this is a work around. Still it is not a long term solution. Access Points
sometimes change their channel usage. This maybe due to manual changes, setting to auto-channel or DFS acting.

Please implement a means to manually select the
WIFI band (2.4GHz, 5GHz, both) to use.

I learned this is not yet implemented:

Hello,

I bought the WETEK Hub because it has dual band wifi.
The 2.4 GHz band is sometimes disturbed by a microwave oven.
For this reason I want to the Hub to use 5GHz only, but my
SSIDs are identical on both bands and that cannot be changed.

How to disable the usage of 2.4GHz wifi or fix it to 5 GHz?

Hello,

I am using a WETEK Hub and a Solid-Run Cubox-i. For the Cubox-i I use a
Harmony remote emulating a MCE remote and it works out of the box with
Libreelec. How to make it work with the Hub? The original WETEK remote
does work, but I want to use the unchanged Harmony.
