I have flashed my Minix X7 with the Kitkat-250 image as mentioned in your answer. I booted my Minix and I get the Kitkat with the Minix screen now (Green and grey).

Then I burned the LibreElec image posted by Vindio74. I plugged it into my uSD to SD adapter (NO-USB) and clicked it in the slot of the Minix.

The only thing that happens is that in the left top corner I get the message "SD card prepared". Nothing more happens. Thats it.

After a while I did a reboot using the Android menu and leaving the card in the MMC-slot. But no results.

What else should I do to start LibreElec?

There seems to be a difference between hot and cold reboot, maybe you can try to set the internal jumper to auto power on and repeat the procedure: 1)disconnect power. 2) insert SD card. 3) connect power.

Initial boot from SD card will take a while, be patient, you should see the red light in the optical audio port as an initial sign of correct boot.

Hi, from my experience with my Minix X7 you can flash the img prepared by balbes 150 that I shared last Nov' 24th in an SD card. Native wifi and ethernet are not working, so you will need a wifi dongle for network connection. None of the later images shared for rk3188 boot in my system.

I'm afraid I can't help either. As far as I know there is no libreelec source code publicy available for rk3188.

Latest imgs shared by balbes150 doesn't boot in my Minix X7, let's hope that any of the developpers can dedicate some time in the future.

I have just checked that the img has been deleted from the folder in Yandisk where it used to be. I guess balbes150 needed more space for the recent images he has been upoading since August. DTB used was rk3188-ugoos-ut2.dtb (defined in extlinux.conf)

Hi all and thanks for your work. I want to share my experience with different images botting from SD in my Neox X7:

LibreELEC-ARMv7.arm-11.0-devel-20210818064457-34fd57d-rk3188: boots correctly, wifi working with an USB dongle, excelent video play, can´'t connect via ssh (yes I can) , installation to EMMC from Kodi menu not working.

LibreELEC-ARMv7.arm-11.0-devel-20210920100043-8bd19d9-rk3188: does not boot

I haven´t found any more recent images for RK3188, any plan to release newer ones in the future?
