Sorry in advance if I missed something, but I do run into the same problem with the exact same bluetooth hardware 0cf3:e009, running a x86_64 version of LibreELEC 9.2.6.
Manually downloading firmware did work out for me, but since this fix was merged a long time ago, I am wondering why it is not available out of the box in 9.2.6.
Again terribly sorry if I asked a dumb question. Not very familiar with how the development process works.
