Hi guys, i've just signed up and had a quick look in the forum for this but can't find anything so apologies if this is a repost. I have three htpcs (see below) set to play next episode automatically and every time a video file finishes playing, next file will stutter until i pause it. I then wait a second while the menu stops flickering and start playing again with no more trouble. Audio is unaffected. This happens on all three boxes. It happens with avi, mkv, mp4, wmv, x264, x265, 1080p, 720p, 480p, files i've encoded myself, files I've recorded via webcam, files i've got from video cameras, files I've been given, files I've downloaded, files i've found etc etc etc.

It doesn't happen when i play a file from the menu, it is only when it starts the next file in the series automatically.

I've tried fiddling about with the Video Acceleration settings and changing various other bits and pieces but no joy.

AMD APU Athlon 5350 Quad Core Processor

    Ballistix Sport 8GB RAM

    32GB SSD

and the other one i can't even remember, but its the same type of low end AMD stuff. They've all got onboard graphics so none have GPUs. All are HDMI to non-smart TVs.

All are running LibreELEC v8.0.2, but it was happening on previous versions as well. I use "xonfluence" skin, but again it happens with the default skin as well. I don't use any add-ons or watch live TV or stream from netflix or anything, just use them for watching files in my personal library.

    Nas is FreeNAS-9.10.2

    FX-4300 CPU

8GB RAM NON-ECC (I know the freenas people will be furious, but none of my data is critical)

running on a 8GB USB drive (as recommended)

All share a library through MYSQL and files are shared through samba (using :455 at the end of the address). All permissions are fine and everything is running as expected.

    Everything's on a cat6 wired network running through a TP-LINK TL-SG1008D-V6 8 Port Gigabit Desktop Switch.

    Any help appreciated.
