so could be that stream was of a encoding type which pi 3 is struggling with.

So for now I will stick to LE9 on pi3.

Issue is back!

In the fresh installed LE11. Bad playback/crashes from a episode of a packed-season stream (payed). I tried also with a fresh LE10, same thing. Some play fine, some keep crashing. I have tested the exact same packed episode-streams in LE9-10 and 11. All fine in LE9. In LE10 and LE11 the sound of the stream starts playing with the loading screen still going untill it crashes. I tested another exact same packaged episode which worked just fine in all 3 versions. (same streams and hardware)

I also tested a fresh LE10 which also takes 47sec to boot.

I also did a sd card with a fresh install of LE11. So far so good. No crashes yet and plays from packed seasons. So this issue probably was about a conflict of addons or the update did not go so well.

LE11 is soo slow.

LE9 boots within 10 seconds. LE11 takes 47 seconds to boot. Is that normal?

both same type of 8gb sd card. On the same raspberry 3.

Any tips on how to copy-paste the api-keys? I've been typing on the remote control for an hour or so, and it still tells me its wrong. Going nuts here.

I tried to edit the settings.xml, but it does not save because of viewing-mode in linux (idk). And there is an issue on the yt github about the key not actually being saved in settings.xml. So there is also that. So it has to be saved by typing into the yt settings, unless someone real smart knows another way...

I installed LE9 from scratch and all is working wonderfull again.

LE9 was installed from scatch. Long time ago.

Since I updated from LE9

- audio crashes randomly. First a loud KRRRK then a dwindeling computer sound like an retro-games gameover tune. Then no sound. May have to reboot 2-3 times before sound is back.

- bad playback from episodes which are packed as a season. Image is skipping a few seconds each time. These are from streams which previously worked fine.

- LE starts up real slow. The button animations are legging.

I exported my error log from

settings > libreelec > system

Showed the popup with the url to view the log. When going there virusscanner blocked access. Says its spreading malware.

I'm so sure there used to be a backup function in there somewhere. I can't find it anymore.

Nothing on the wiki about this anymore.

How to make a backup of kodi?

But could not paste to /userdata, or create a keyboard.xml file there. The option is greyed out.

I did not manage to do that.

I just booted with a linux cd, it can see the 2 partitions. But in storage/ there is no .kodi/userdata (which is the folder I need to find)?

When I plugin the micro sd card to win 10, it does not see all the files.

How to make them visible?

I used to edit bookmarks via the network, but win 10 does not see network > libreelec any more. Even when I type the ip address from kodi > systeminfo.

Has something changed, or am I overlooking something?
