hey dtech , any idea why Airplay isn't working here? It shows up, connects but as soon as I play something it just throws me an error on my PC. Thanks.

If I remember it correctly (years ago) I had to choose HDMI, Also s/pdif only supports 2 channel audio and ac3 (5.1) passthrough. You need to deselect all the other audio formats in the settings, so that Kodi will transcode these other formats to ac3 format. The number of channels should be on 2.0 (you will still get 5.1 on ac3 passthrough)
Even with HDMI selected and 2 channels, it doesn't output any audio. I'm using the same cable that works on my TV with the same sound bar, also the sound bar shows a red LED, indicating there's no audio coming out.

Hmm.. the Tbee dts has the device-tree plumbing in-place. Have you selected the S/PDIF output in Kodi settings? You shouldn't need to make any changes to alsa settings as the routing for S/PDIF should be set by default.
Weird, I don't see the S/PDIF output in the Kodi Settings, I've never tried it on Android, but the red light on the port is on.

Optical outputs should work as long as the device-tree file has the necessary content. What box? What device-tree are you using?
I'm using the one you made for me a few weeks ago, called "Tbee", to make Bluetooth work with QCA9377.

Hi. Is Optical Audio Port something that is already supported in mainline kernel? just asking because my box has one, I've never used before but I thought about turning some old speakers into airplay speakers but there's not audio output and I'm pretty bad with messing with ALSA on Linux. Thank you and sorry to bother.

Nice to hear. Can you please share the URL from "dmesg | paste" so I can check the boot log.
Thank you!

The Nexbox A95X device-tree doesn't have any references to WiFi or BT devices. WiFi gets found since it's attached to SDIO which is described and acts like a bus with connected devices, but BT is a serial device that needs to be explicitly described with device type or the kernel doesn't know what to probe for.
Please boot https://chewitt.libreelec.tv/testing/LibreE…85.0-box.img.gz - I've added an experimental device-tree for the box that should get BT working.
Started working perfectly, thank you so much!!
Edit: Also everything I've tested with video playback has been perfect and smooth!! -
The P212 device-tree describes hardware with a Broadcom compatible chip, so the wrong driver is probed. What is the box?
My box is some custom model board from Geniatech sold in Portugal as TBee.
I have some pictures of the board.
https://imgur.com/a/R5z1azAEdit: Using the Nexbox A95X which also has a QCA9377 chip I get Bluetooth disabled by default, by activating the Bluetooth I get the "No Bluetooth adapter found" message again, but the dmesg is different.

Hi. I tried the last nightly build on my S905X with a QCA9377 Wireless chip, Wifi is working perfectly but I don't have Bluetooth working. Any idea? Thanks.

You can provide me a dmesg log but controllers dont need any configuration they should be plug and play. Can i have the controller model you are connectiing please?
Hi. After some tries I found why the controllers weren't working, it seems like just one of the usb port works here. Xbox 360 Controller and Series X works fine (from the USB Port), I have no Wifi, Bluetooth (AP6330) or ethernet, ethernet has a weird IP Adresss, DHCP broken probably, I'll attach image bellow. Any way to get logs without internet connection ? Thanks.

Some more exciting news coming up for this old champ:
I have ported Batocera Linux RetroGaming Firmware on this soc thanks to Martin Blumenstingl excellent work!
You can try and test it here
batocera-s812-30-20210214.img.gz | by Demetris. for MXQ TV Box
It should be able to boot straight on a MXIII-G/PLUS S812 board for the others you now the drill of renaming the dtb.
Hello, I tried this and it boots up fine but plugging in controllers I don't have that pop up showing up to configure them, so I can't do anything basically. I would like to provide some logs if needed.
