Still no problems with any of my 22 NTFS-disks. 2 of my Pi's are on LE11 nightlies & the other 2 on LE12.

I remember one think: before the problems arrive, I switched LibreElec update to automatic. I was in manual update before this.

Could it be a problem occuring when autoupdate is activated (so after performing automatically an update) ?

    Hi,

I've exactly the same problem since v11.01.

I was using LibreElec Matrix with a Raspberry Pi 4 without problems but since V11.x some hard disk problem arrived.

3 times I have to connect my hasrd drive (Maxtor 4 Tb) on a Windows computer then perform a chkdsk /Fix.

Each time the hard drive after restarted on LibreElec.

But from yesterday It doesn't work anymore in LibreElec I have the same message in logs as this :

@Reddirt have you managed to solve the problem or found a workaround? I'm facing the same problem since today, as I've updated from LE 11 stable to latest nighltly (using x86 generic) and got the same problem as you:

LibreELEC udevil[710]: mount: mounting /dev/sdb1 on /media/sdb1-usb-Seagate_BUP_Slim failed: Invalid argument

LibreELEC udevil[704]: mount: mounting /dev/sdb1 on /media/sdb1-usb-Seagate_BUP_Slim failed: No such device

Except mine is a Maxtor, not a Seagate.

When I connect my hard disk on Woindows it see no problem and it work great.

This is definitely a problem with LibreElec v11.x.

Is there a way to downgrade to LibreElec Matrix from LibreElec v11.x ?

    Hi escalade,

Is there a way to upgrade existing kodi (9.2.6) installation on RPI4 to your RetroElec ?

I have recently installed LibreElec 9.2.6 on my RPI4B (2 gb version) and Kodi run like a charm, I would not like to lose it)

I've tried to install Retroarch and EmulationStation but it's a nightmare:

    - Retroarch suddenly exit when I navigate inside the menu (by example I click on Settings then on Directory and it exit and return to Kodi interface, so I can't configure it)

    - EmulationStation just show the splash screen then directly return back to Kodi interface ...

Did your distribution work with RPI4B ?

    Thanks for you answer.

    Hi,

Very sorry if already asked but I doesn't find similar problem on the forum.

Before to begin, here my configuration and what I do:

    - Raspberry Pi 4B 2Gb (new)

    - SD 32 Gb Samsung (new too)

    - External USB HardDisk for all médias (movies, games, ...)

I've writed the image of LibreElec 9.2.6 (RPI4) on a new SD card and started my raspberry with it.

About LibreElec all is perfect, I've added some addons for Tv Stream (inputStream Adaptive, VCR, ...) and all is working fine. All my movies are detected by the system and I can show direct TV legally.

After that, I've tried to install RetroArch and EmulationStation (for my childs) and that's where the nightmare begin !

I followed this thread: stock-libreelec-and-retro-gaming and precisely the post #16 of @robmcc83 (thanks to him) which explain how to install and configure Retroarch.

All was done so I tried to launch RetroArch and simply when navigating in the menu Retroarch exit to Kodi (by example I click on Settings then on Directory and this is the end !).

I've restarted many times to check and it's systemic !

I would like to configure Retroarch to set my bios and ROM on my usb Hard Drive but I can't ! And of course I don't show any way to launch any game with RetroArch ...

On the same thread, robmcc83 explain (post #18) how to install and configure EmulationStation. Again, I've followed all his explainations.

After all was configured, I've tried to start Emulation, I just show the logo then directly it restart KODI interface.

So I'm unable to start EmulationStation too ...

Is there anything I missed ?

Is anybody else is facing this problem ?

    Can anybody help me ?

I've some notion of linux system and can perform a list of command shell if needed.

Thank you for your help !
