Hi Everybody,
I am on 11.0.0 . Just saw that LE 11.0.1 has been release but auto update does not seem to work or do I have to wait a bit longer?
Can I manually update by copying the file LibreELEC-AMLGX.arm-11.0.1-odroid-c2.img.gz to the update folder or will this be a clean install ?
Have not done this for a while - there used to be .tar files for updates and .gz for a clean install ...

Hi Chewitt,
Thanks for the feedback. Yes, all of my vids are HEVC. Why does Kodi "Leia" have no problems with HEVC seeking ? What is different to Nexus ?
-
Hi,
Last week I finally updated from Leia to Nexus (LibreELEC-AMLGX.arm-11.0.0-odroid-c2.img). When DRM Prime is enabled I can't skip the video for more than 10sec without the picture freezing. Sometimes pressing the ESC button brings back the menu but it also happens that I have to reboot. When DRM prime is disabled skipping is no problem but the video is kinda choppy - not really smooth.
Does anybody else has the same problem ?

You haven't described which folders content you've been deleted. If you delete the content of /storage/.cache, then it maybe updates time.
I deleted the content of the thumbnails directory in /storage/.kodi/userdata as well as the TexturesXX.db file......
-
Looks like just GUI. I just checked with putty - the dates of the directories are different - none of them are 01.01.1970

Hi,
Recently I ran out of storage space on the SD card and deleted the thumbnails directory and the TexturesXX.db file. Since then LibreELEC is showing all files as well as newly added files with the date 01.01.1970. The settings in settings/interface/regional are showing the correct timezone, date and time. The NTP server is set as well. Internet connection is available and working.
I am out of ideas.
Can somebody help ?
Cheers

When I ran the "Update library" command yesterday evening again I realized that the process runs through quite quickly like when there is nothing to update at all.
I recalled that I once accidentally removed a movie from my library and that even after I updated the library it would not show up anymore although the video file was still on the hard drive.
This made me think to maybe use a different scraper. So I changed the scraper from the "The Movie Database" to "The Universal Movie Scraper" an low and behold after a lengthy update process all posters are showing up except the ones for Movie set but that's not a big deal since I can refresh them manually .
-
Two possible reasons:
- Kodi's scraper had a mishap that may have a Kodi core reason. Thus, thumbnail addresses via http2 weren't working. A couple of bandaids have been applied and fanart retrieval seems to be working for now.
- TMDB has done quite a spring cleaning some time ago, so some fanart/thumbs is no longer available.
Everything worked just fine till I deleted thumbnails dir and Textures.db. I am still running 9.0.2 since this is the most recent version of LibreElec for the Odroid c2....

Unfortunately no ch
unfortunately no change...

Which LE hardware do you use? How do you access your movies (local storage, SMB...)?
Odroid C2 - The movies are on a NAS (SMB)

Hi,
The other day I deleted the Thumbnails directory and the
TexturesXX.db file because I ran out of storage space. There were a lot (really, a lot !!) of thumbnails from Youtube clips.
Now (after reboot) I cannot get libreelec to show all the cover art of my movies anymore . Updating the library does not seem to help. Only a few movie covers are showing up. If I manually refresh a particular video the poster comes up but with over 700 movies it's a bit cumbersome. The TV-Shows and Music libs are fine.
Any idea what went wrong and how I can fix it ?. See also attached pix.
Cheers
