1) I boot it and see "Welcome to LibreELEC" wizard, I press next several times till it offers me to choose a wifi network with a list containing only my home wifi network (so scanning works fine). I press on it, choose "Connect", but nothing happens afterwards, no prompt for a wifi password appears.
2) I go to settings, choose LibreELEC, then "Connections". My home wifi network is shown, I press on it, choose "Connect", no prompt for a wifi password appears.
This wifi adapter works fine in Armbian so I don't think there is any problem with it on the hardware level.
# Sound
No sounds in the menu of Kodi, tried all ALSA-devices offered by Kodi.

Can you provide output of lsusb and dmesg commands when dongle is inserted?
Both are from Armbian on orange pi pc, not libreelec (If I remember correctly libreelec doesn't allow to switch to a virtual console). If you need these logs exactly on libreelec -- let me know.

1) I have the same issue with WiFi:
During the initial setup after install it doesn't allow me to enter the wifi user/pass, when I select the wifi network and click on connect nothing happens, just returns to the wifi selection list, which seems to detect the networks just fine.
2) I have no sound in the main menu via HDMI, tried different ALSA audio output devices in the settings but none of the 4 works.
Audio problems were reported by others:
