An RPi4 may be better but I already the the slice.
Are there any other uses for the slice box other than kodi? I've pretty much dumped Kodi now and am using Infuse on Apple TV.

Hi there, I am in the same boat of just pulling out my slice box after years of it sitting in a box in the garage collecting dust.

I did upgrade the software some time ago but found it so slow it was unbearable and probably the reason I shelved it. Now I am looking to repurpose it in someway. I was just wondering if I should also upgrade the computer module as well as mine seems to have the original 1.1 version in it.
Will the CM3+ work in this or do I need to go with the CM3 only? Would there be much difference between the two?
