Tried doing that, tuners still weren't showing up. Weird since they're known good tuners and show up just fine under Ubuntu, Arch, and Windows, but that's after installing the appropriate drivers.

I'm trying to get tvheadend set up but when I tried to access my tuners on the web interface, it's showing up as nothing being detected. But when I use the lspci command via SSH, my tuner is being seen. I'm using a TBS 6704 quad tuner and the crazycat drivers (which don't seem to work with my tuner card), does anyone know any way to get my tuners to actually be usable?

How would I go about slipstreaming drivers into the x86 install file and ensuring said drivers work? I poked around the source files but found no traces of anywhere they would go, aside from a few .mk files in the drivers folder. What changes to the source files would I have to do to get the drivers to compile, and are there any easier ways to install the drivers without having to reinstall LE? These are the drivers I'm trying to install. I'd use the Crazycat drivers but for whatever reason they don't support the TBS 6704 ATSC tuner. Sorry if this sounds like a silly question, I'm new to cross compiling LE.

Tried compiling on a different distro (Ubuntu in a VM) and copied the resulting files over, that didn't do anything. Though that might be due to Ubuntu using a newer kernel than LE (5.4 vs. 5.1)

Oh, oops. Should've mentioned it's a TBS 6704 ATSC tuner (unsupported by the crazycat drivers)

Yup. I'm trying to compile the drivers for my tv tuner card, which is otherwise unsupported in LE.

As the title says, something that can be used to compile stuff like drivers (e.g. for TV tuners) straight from our LibreELEC boxes, would at the least help newbies like me who would otherwise not know what they're doing with trying to slipstream drivers into the install img file.

I've been using LibreELEC for a bit now, and while it works great, I'm trying to get my TV tuner card to work so that I'd have an all in one box without the need for an external recording server. The included TBS driver module (the crazycat one) doesn't support my TV tuner (the TBS 6704 ATSC quad-tuner) and I'm at a bit of a loss on what to do aside from manually installing the drivers. How would I go about manually installing the drivers, if it's even possible?

Hardware:
Rzyen 3 3200G
Vega 8 iGPU

256 GB boot SSD
2 TB "games" drive (I'm also running Retroarch on the PC)
4 TB "media" drive
Intel AX200 Wifi+BT
TBS 6704 ATSC quad tuner

EDIT: tried using git and make, neither of which are in LibreELEC.
