    Hiya,

So I did what you asked and after playback (using default skin) the kodi.bin process is the only high consumer of the CPU for about 20%. After 20 minutes the "kodi.bin" process increases to 110-120% CPU and stays on this level.

Sorry my statement is incorrect. The log starts at 21:00 till 21:30 but halfway I turned off the verbose logging just because if the normal debug log would be enough to identify an issue it would perhaps be easier. Nothing special happened at 21:15.

I played a video from 21:00 - 21:30 and all the time the CPU has been plus 100%

    Hi there,

I am experiencing very high CPU usage when playing videos (>100%) which results in the fan becoming very loud. I tried making sense of the log, but I have no clue what to look for.

The log can be found here: http://ix.io/2nqY

it starts at 21:00 and till 21:15 I have verbose logging turned on all components. From 21:15 onwards I have only normal debbugging turned on. I am running on a Core i3 CPU with integrated intel video card. The whole time the CPU was on steroids... This used to never be a problem.

Hopefully someone can makes sense out of this. Happy to answer any questions off course...
