No, I won't use for my builds r6p1 Mali driver as it has performance issues. It used in .006, you can see for youself: LibreELEC
Builds for S905 won't work on S912, these SoC has different Mali chips and driver is not compatible.

I've tested 008 build on S912 box.
It booted but didn't start kodi.
I can connect ssh and samba.
The ts file played perfectly. When just watch.
Only when I go to home screen, then is noticeable out of sync.
But why need to go home menu?
I've found it during test.
kszaq's former devel version works fine.
High bitrate HEVC file has same problem.(24fps, 60fps, not 30fps)
I can't share High bitrate HEVC file because it's too big(over 40GB) and copyright.

I also add 4K 60FPS HEVC file which has same problem.
Can you try below?
1. Open and Play any 4K 60FPS HEVC file.
2. Push home button on your remote.
3. Extract Full Screen.
4. Check syncing problem.
Unfortunately it won't. I have played a few videos with .008 and have not experienced out of sync audio. As per sticky thread you need to provide me a sample that exposes the issue, otherwise how can I tell if a fix that I may provide works or not?I know which Kodi patch causes the issue but I would prefer to fix it rather than delete it.
If no sample can be provided, would you be able to reproduce the issue in a fairly short period of time when I provide you a test build to tell whether it's fixed or not?

BT.2020 seems a bit iffy. Videos from here marked as BT.2020 are very dark. When playing one of the videos and going to the main menu, the interface is extremely dark. Once the video stops the interface brightness goes back to normal.For some reason when playing one of them videos it makes everything a lot dimmer.

My builds for S905X are only for testing new features. There can be missing some patches.
Test version with h264 4k fix and vp9 hw playback:

I found sample and tested it. On my device it 4K 60FPS vp9 plays slowed. The same problem is in kplayer (which is reference Amlogic player for this board) and in Kodi on Android.
I usually use kodi(16.1) on android for test.
You have to use mediacodec(surface), Don't use amcodec(It's for S905 only)
MX Player Works well but not compatible with DTS external codec.
