Hi i made a good old amazon slip yesterday i thought i was getting the s905 but it seems upon arrival i have the mxqpro s905x now instead i have managed to make it work great on sdcard using this version 7.0.3.012d with dtb.img box is mxqpro 20160920 v12
i then tried to installtointernal but this is where i fail i ssh into box and issue instaltointernal and then get this
Type "yes" if you know what you are doing or anything else to exit: yes

please can anyone suggest what i could try to get libreelec into nand on this box and thank you for your time
sorry quick question if my mxq pro is working well on current dtb should i just update using the update folder and not mess with the device tree?
or can i just add the new dev tree and update in one easy go. sorry for the questions my brains on a go slow today
Display More
confirmed here aswell tested in the same manner on a ott mxq pro 905 using realtek wifi 8189etv chipsetimage 007 and gxbb p200 1g 100m device tree
on ethernet working brilliantly as soon as you switch wifi on after 5 to 7 minutes sometimes less the box just drops connections and becomes a pig to respond
off on doesnt work under wifi once it crashes out
plus note ethernet everything works a treat
MiniM8sPro 2G/8GB
Tested today with 007.Vanilla Kodi. WIFI ON but not connected to network yet!
I have NO ethernet connected at this stage.
Networks are displaying in LE configurations.
Power off and on via remote tried 3 times WORKS.
Reboot via power menu 3 times WORKS.Now i have connected to my network via WIFI (again no ethernet cable attached)
I have not tried to play anything yet.
I now did a manual Update of add ons. Went well 2 standard Kodi Updates.
Used reboot from power menu box FROZE. Unplug Replug
Wait for 1 minute. Tried reboot Box FROZE again. Repeated again 3rd time FROZE.
Now i tried to power off box with the remote.
The screen on my TV went Black and the box blue light stayed ON. Pressing the power button
did nothing.
Unplug Replug Hit power button this time box froze (could see kodi working wheel stuck)
At this stage i cannot connect SMB either. Unplug replug.
Tried 4 times with power button again Box Froze. unplug replug.
Tried reboot again 3 times and it worked until i tried to install an add-on from Kodi Official repo. Nothing would download. All failing. So i have called up wifi to download add-on it failed then tried to reboot FROZE.
OKAY it seems when wifi is called up to download or stream all the reboots and on off freezing occurs afterwards. If you don’t try to stream or download add-ons then ON, OFF, REBOOT all work.
So basically wifi starts and then shuts down.
Once you try to stream or download it disconnects and disappears from network smb as well.
it is showing connected in LE configurations after this but no other network is displayed under connections..EDIT: With ethernet connected I can go to LE and see both Ethernet and wifi both reading Ready with their own IP Address.
Rebooted 3 times same. Of course the box is working with ethernet plugged in.Reminder the device tree used for LE on these boxes is not a listed device tree specifically for this box in LE device trees.
Using the below in testing.gxbb_p200_2G_t95n_2g.dtb
gxbb_p200_2G_t95n_2g.dtbkszaq PM'D some logs after using speedtest addon where wifi breaks down and disconnects.
No rush as i have exhausted the variables to the point of having no idea what i have achieved.
@tecbox@ Memory management will be better in next release.
many thanks kszaq your work is great so much so sponsored this am too thank you
Hoping i havnt missed a post i did have a good search but im using the OTT TV BOX MXQ PRO S905 20160524 v1.2 amlogic with latest build 7.0.2.6
installation went fine and everything works as i would expect. (installed to NAND)
The only issue seems to be memory management if you give the box a hard time it slows to a crawl has anyone else expereinced this.
the Reboot function fixed on latest build 7.0.2.6 for the S905? ( for the post above i can confirm reboot is working for me.)
is the memory issue apparent in LibreElec 7.0.2.4 and if not is it easy enough to downgrade for a bit
Many thanks for your time and to all those involved your work is greatly appreciated
