OK, good news.
Thank you.
OK, good news.
Thank you.
Today I upgraded LibreELEC to the latest nightly version (LibreELEC-H3.arm-9.80-nightly-20201230-c9e96e6-orangepi-pc.img).
My addon "service.fan.orangepi" then stopped working.
I found that the problem is in the "-b" option of the "top" command.
This returns the error " 'dumb': unknown terminal type. ".
This will remain so that it is not possible to use "top batch-mode" in LibreELEC?
I think that this problem is not related to Allwinner only. The new builds for RPi4 behave in the same way. I solve this by manually editing the file ".cache/connman/ethernet_XXXXXXXXXXXX_cable/settings".
When I need to assign IP addresses manually, the content looks like this:
[ethernet_XXXXXXXXXXXX_cable]
Name=Wired
AutoConnect=true
Modified=2020-12-23T13:40:43Z
IPv4.method=manual
IPv4.netmask_prefixlen=24
IPv4.local_address=192.168.1.201
IPv4.gateway=192.168.1.1
IPv6.method=off
IPv6.privacy=disabled
Nameservers=192.168.1.1;8.8.8.8;
Timeservers=0.pool.ntp.org;1.pool.ntp.org;2.pool.ntp.org;

Thank you for the advice. Yes, that would probably be ideal. Maybe I'll do it sometime. But I'll wait for now. Maybe there will be little or no interest, so it would make no sense.
I created two new addons for Orange Pi (Allwinner) boards.
Both are for Kodi 19 (Matrix) only.
The first is "Orange Pi Tools". This is actually the OrangePi.GPIO library (binary) for controlling GPIO using Python3.
The second is the "Orange Pi Cooling Fan". It uses the above library and controls the fan based on the CPU temperature.
The Source_addon_virtual.opi-tools-001.zip file is the source. Most people won't need that. Just in case you want to make some adjustments and compile yourself. After unpacking, two new folders will be created. The "opi-tools-depends" folder must be placed in the ".../http://LibreELEC.tv/packages/addons/addon-depends/" folder and the "opi-tools" folder should be placed in the ".../http://LibreELEC.tv/packages/addons/tools/".
Then you can compile by entering the command (for example): "PROJECT=Allwinner ARCH=arm DEVICE=H6 scripts/create_addon opi-tools".
Addon is ready in the Compiled_addon_virtual.opi-tools-001.zip file (separately for H6 boards and separately for others).
The service.fan.orangepi-0.0.1.zip file is the addon "Orange Pi Cooling Fan".
I hope someone will be interested in it.
EDIT 2021-07-09:
I found that there is an bug in the OPi.GPIO library. There does not work properly calling of callbacks when mode == GPIO.BOARD. The bug is fixed in release 0.6.4.0.
Subsequently, I also created a corresponding new version of the virtual.opi-tools add-on. It is here:
Source_addon_virtual.opi-tools-002.zip
Compiled_addon_virtual.opi-tools-002.zip
EDIT 2021-08-23:
I found some bugs in the original library Jeremie-C/OrangePi.GPIO:
1) The control of pins belonging to the PL bank and higher does not work at all.
2) Pin status reading GPIO.input(channel) does not work properly, when edge detection GPIO.add_event_detect() is activated on the same channel (this problem only occurs with H3).
I fixed both bugs in my fork Pako2/OrangePi.GPIO.
Subsequently, I also updated the Orange Pi Tools add-on, which uses the library.
I also made a minor fix in the Orange Pi Cooling Fan add-on.
All new versions of add-ons are here:
Source_addon_virtual.opi-tools-003.zip
For several weeks I can't find system-tools in the new image. I just need "mc". So far, I'm solving this by copying the addon from an older version, where it was still available.
Are there any plans for when system-tools will be normally available again?
Thanks.
Does anyone have older nightly version for Orange Pi PC for download?
Here's the version that I currently use.
LibreELEC-H3.arm-9.80-nightly-20201003-0bfa8aa-orangepi-pc.img.gz
It's not hard to build addons. You may take it here
pvr.iptvsimple-4.12.0.1.zip
Thank you for your efforts to help and advise.
But that's useless at the moment. See:
Addons should be updated now.
And I can confirm that. Since then, the Simple PVR Client has been working again.

I am Not Sure but could be Libreelec lacks on czech language Support and none of the Team speaks czech.
As a workaround I would Set language to en. Set everything Up and Then Change language Back to czech.

Thank you for your efforts to help and advise.
But I wrote it for another reason. I don't need advice. I did it easily myself (even though I'm a beginner).
I wrote it because it's a bug and it should be addressed.
I have other findings:
1) I tried version 9.2.1 on RPi4 and it works fine. The Czech mutation of wizard therefore exists and wizard does not work only in "nightly" versions (last time I tried LibreELEC-RPi4.arm-9.80-nightly-20200512-cf26681).
2) I tried to choose the German language in the wizard and the problem is exactly the same as in the case of Czech.
3) Header of the dialog box (in which the language is selected) is "Enable LibreELEC Settings PIN Lock" . Is that an intention or a bug ?

Luboš
Why no interest here?
I just installed the image "LibreELEC-RPi4.arm-9.80-nightly-20200505-6ddd950.img" on a new RPi4 board.
Exactly the same behavior.
So it's not just about Allwinner.
So it would probably be right to move this thread to another section of the forum ...
When will a new image be available?
Changes are applied in next nightly image after PR gets merged, but I don't know when it will be merged.
There is no stable version for OPi Lite 2, only "develop" or "nightly". So I'm trying to install every new build that appears on the page "https://test.libreelec.tv/" (in the hope that it will be better than the previous version).
But now it makes no sense, the last functional version for me was "nightly-20200418-34ae240".
Please, is there a way to know that the PVTV IPTV Simple Client will work again without having to install a new build
(all versions, where the PVR IPTV Simple Client does not work, are worthless to me) ?
I have installed the latest nightly update today - 2020/04/20 and it has been said that my PVR Client is not supported by this version, so it has been turned off.
I can confirm that. The same problem is with the version "LibreELEC-H6.arm-9.80-devel-20200421091705-9850f95-orangepi- *".
The "PVR IPTV Simple Client" add-on cannot be installed.
Log: kodi.binary.instance.pvr version 6.1.0 could not be satisfied.
which hardware are you using, and which LibreELEC build/version are you trying to install?
I use OPi Lite 2.
All versions (of course there are only test versions) that I tried have this problem. The first was LibreELEC-H6.arm-9.80-devel-20200130163045-7e4f2c4-orangepi-lite2.img and the last one was LibreELEC-H6.arm-9.80-devel-20200416225354-2c8900c-orangepi-lite2.img.
I found out that there is a bug in the LibreELEC wizard (which starts when I turn on the board with the new image on the SD card for the first time).
The problem occurs when I select Czech in the first dialog box.In this case, several empty dialog boxes follow.
For example, I cannot enable SSH.
Maybe this is not just an Allwinner case, but I do not have the opportunity to verify.
Please test this one: LibreELEC-H6.arm-9.80-devel-20200416213013-837464c-orangepi-lite2.img.gz
It has panfrost driver updated a bit which should hopefully solve the issue you have.
Unfortunately, even this version is not better, it is not possible to use.
Ok, panfrost patch which caused instability on H6 was removed. Next nightly should work well again on H6 boards.
You're right, version LibreELEC-H6.arm-9.80-devel-20200416225354-2c8900c-orangepi-lite2.img is usable, the problem is gone.
Download putty for Windows it works very well for ssh and is free
I don't use Windows, I use Linux Mint.
I have no problem using ssh and I use it commonly and often.
The problem was that I was not able to set up the network and enable ssh in the LE environment (GUI problem).
But this time I was lucky and everything went well. So I have both files available.
ok, this doesn't help, no error visible and you are running "devel-20200404212626", which is not the one which cause issues.
I'm sorry. I didn't realize that I returned the only functional version to the SD card. I have to reinstall it. Then I'll put it here again.
The kodi.log file is attached.
I don't have ssh, so I can't provide dmesg.
