Thanks for the reply, I tried that. Windows found no issue with the disk.
Run a disk check from Windows. It's likely there is an issue with the filesystem and Linux mounts the drive read-only to prevent writing new data to a damaged filesystem.
Hi guys, I have an issue with my setup.
I have a rpi/libreelec setup with an external hdd connected via usb.
Samba enabled so I transfer movies/tv shows to my library which is stored on the HDD.
The problem is I can't write anything to the disk or transfer files from my windows PC even though Libreelec and HDD content is visible. Anyone knows how to solve this? People on reddit suggested reformating (which is last resort since there's a bunch of media on it) and using sftp which also doesn't work.
