I have the same issue on an RPI4 and google led me here. I looked around more found this PR and comment from a guy at LibreElec in Aug 2021 saying that neither hyperion nor hyperion-ng work on the Raspberry Pi....

I am using a 2GB Raspberry Pi 4 with libreelec 9.2 trying to play a downloaded 4k .webm version of Big Buck Bunny from youtube.. Video is stored on a 500GB samsung SSD connected to one of the USB 3.0 ports. Video playback is relatively smooth but seems set at about 0.50 speed. Other 4k videos I have tried have the same issue.

I added "hdmi_enable_4kp60=1" to my /flash/config.txt after reading the 9.2 release notes.

Anyone know what the issue might be?
