You are partly correct. It seems my ISP recently decided to block Kodi Servers, which is why Kodi couldn't connect with its servers. I found this article yesterday and tried using the addon VPN on Kodi to connect. And as expected, Kodi connected. I still have not spoken with my ISP on this matter but this definitely confirms my suspicion.

Hello everyone. New guy here. I am facing a serious issue since yesterday. Actually, I play Kodi on HTPC setup running LibreELEC 9.2.6, but now I am unable to watch any shows on it. One error message keeps popping up on the screen. I am attaching the error message below. Kindly anyone give me some remedies to solve this issue. Any kind of response would be greatly appreciated.
