Samsung Wonderland Two HDR UHD 4K Demo | 4K Media
When I want to download a video it says that too many people have download it and it is not possible to download.
I will test some files and let know the results.

Test with the latest nightly instead - from one of your posts it looked like you had installed an earlier testbuild without the final BT2020 fix.
Edit: I've now removed the testbuilds from my server to avoid confusion - all HDR changes are available in nightly builds.

Hias
I got it. And the BT2020 is also in the last nightly build?

Harun
Just head over to 4kmedia.org, you'll find plenty of samples there - eg Samsung Wonderland Two HDR UHD 4K Demo | 4K Media
There's not much point in testing with LE9.2 (as it doesn't support HDR output), check with the latest nightly and compare the same file with the internal player of your TV our your UHD BR player - if you do that, make sure the TV settings are identical, lots of TVs store separate settings for each HDMI port and also internal player.

Hias
Many thanks! I put your build on it. Is that also fine instead of nightly?

IIRC tone mapping is only supported in Kodi for Windows (via d3d shaders) and Android (via the mediacodec framework, if implemented by a device). I've read reports that it works fine on the Nvidia Shield, not sure about other devices.

Do you have a sample file to test the hdr on the rpi4 with your latest build? If yes could you upload it by wetransfer?
I will put the file on usb stick and test it on LE 9.2.6 and on 10.0.

Do you have the same video on an original source - comparing an HDR10 UHD Blu-ray played on a UHD Blu-ray player, compared with the same disc ripped as a file (without remastering/transcoding) and played back on the Pi 4B would be the obvious route.
What I can say is that the video levels leaving the Pi 4B are what is expected within the standard, and the EOTF is being correctly flagged.
I haven't checked what the MaxCLL and MaxFALL and mastering metadata situation is - but I wouldn't expect that to change the replay level (though it may change how highlights are treated)
(As I've said above - HDR content is often accused of being too dark when it follows the official HDR10 specs, largely because the specs are based on the SDR range - 0-100nits - being unrealistically low for domestic settings, and the reality is that people watch SDR content at far brighter levels than the spec is based on, meaning they watch SDR pushed well into the HDR10 HDR range of >100 nits)
Properly mastered SDR will keep almost all content but highlights and speculars in the 0-100nit range - so HDR often appears dark as a result (particularly HDR10 content that has a set-in-stone video level to light level mapping, unlike HLG)
No I dont have the same movie on uhd disc. Maybe somebody got a file which I can download and put it on a usb stick and then play it on the rpi4 to test it.
Thanks for the information buddy.
Display MoreIf you are in the mood for some experimental testing here's a new testbuild to try:
LibreELEC-RPi4.arm-10.0-devel-20210409193846-98e0bda.tar
Kodi and video driver now signal BT.2020 colorspace, my LG C8 now shows BT.2020 in status info (which it didn't before).
Conversion matrix in video driver is unchanged so whitepoint most certainly isn't right. 10/12bit output is still missing as well, but hopefully we're one step closer to correct HDR output.
The build also contains current WIP HEVC optimizations and latest kodi Matrix changes. High-bitrate and 50/60fps HEVC videos should perform better now but beware, there might still be bugs

Hias
First I make a new fresh install of:
LibreELEC-RPi4.arm-10.0-nightly-20210417-e3f1165.img
After that I put your file:
LibreELEC-RPi4.arm-10.0-devel-20210409193846-98e0bda
in the UPDATE folder to update
But When open HDR video the colors are still dark I think. Maybe it is the video itself. Do you have any tips to change in the settings or do you have a sample file that I could test?
So long
You need to be running a Matrix beta build.
Copy the tar file linked to /storage/.update and reboot.
Hi,
Where do I find that build?
Display MoreHere's a new testbuild, now with - hopefully - correct BT.2020 YCC->RGB conversion matrix:
LibreELEC-RPi4.arm-10.0-devel-20210412194217-d08d2e1.tar
noggin do you have a possibility to verify with your HD-fury if the conversion matrix is OK now? popcornmix's HDMI analyzer doesn't seem to have picture/color analysis features and visual testing is quite a PITA as I don't have an easy-to-use known-good reference to compare against (my TV's built-in player sucks, it completely exits after switching to HDMI input so I can't easily switch back-and-forth).
Of course feedback from others is highly welcome, too!

Hi Hias,
Is this the latest build to test? And this one should be also the best to test. Am I right?
When I download the file and unzip I see different files and maps inside. How could I write that build to sd card? Do you have some steps how it should be?
So long
I understand you. But you do not understand that an sd card of 32gb not the same size is as an 32gb usb stick.
That is the problem that you could not write the image to the usb stick.
You can make backup and put t back on the clean install
Maybe to begin with a clean install? And make backup in sd card version and put the backup in kodi to fix yiur backup data back.
Hias,
I have a soundbar of: bose soundbar 700
Just see only dolby digital and dts.
Could not see dts hd and dolby true hd.
is it about the soundbar or is the connection not fine?
many thanks
Could somebody help me where I need to put the overclock settings in the config.txt file?
I've been running an overclocked rpi4 with an icetower cooler for a week with the following (literally at the end of the standard /flash/config.txt):
I'm getting temps of 36.0'C.
No observed odd side effects; it's been in use all week and not powered off. I am using the official rpi4 psu.
could you show me where you write the text in the config file?
boot time is pretty much same as on my SD card id say.
Overall it feels nicer and faster and hopefully in a near future we will get smooth playback and no screen tearing
Im looking forward for when the HDR/Atmos arrives.
Sounds good
works like charm now
niceee:)
what about booting? Is it fast of you see the black screen with text?
