Hi guys hope you can help.

I'm running 9.1.002 pointing at a freenas server with a shared mysql DB

I realise this is probably old news but its just started happening for me. When I ask to export my library it fails and I get this message in the logfile

unix_err:'d' error 'Permission denied' ERROR: ExportToXML: Movie nfo export failed!

Now, i assume this is SMB/permissions related but this has only just shown up. I can happily watch/navigate all vids, files etc on the server and access the info from previous .NFO files, it just won't overwrite them.

It will create new .NFOs for files that need them, just not overwrite the old ones. So it doesn't seem to be a problem with access to the actual folder location.

The server itself is just set up as a jbod, with no user groups or accounts and the settings are all 777 (full access to anyone from any device on the network) - no passwords.

    anyone got any ideas?

    cheers

    THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

Thats a massive w eight off my mind, I was just about to strip my server down and that would have been a nightmare! Panic avoided.

So we just wait it out then.

    Cheers guys.

(PS why is the word w.eight censored? lol)

Hi guys, I have a msi AM1 Athlon 5350 running libreelec 9.0.2. connecting to a freenas server via wired smb shares. I turned it on this morning and it went into a reboot loop that wouldn't load far enough for me to do anything with, so I've reinstall.

Now I realise that it was trying to scan my library on start up and was failing, because the fresh insatll is doing the same. I can navigate to the file location, but when I scan for new content it will freeze for a minute then go blank for about 3 minutes then come back on as if nothing has happened. It doesn't actually run through startup, just comes back (without scanning).

    Any ideas whats wrong?
