Debug log might help.

Some usb sticks just won't boot easily. Try some others.

Refresh hasn't worked for me.

On x86, the OE version still works.

Please report your bugs properly, see LibreELEC

It is like openelec, although the addition of Docker should allow for easier additional packages.

What pvr backend are you using?
-
In other words in the same pace as all other operating systems.
-
A debug log might help analyse the problem.

Klojum I was unsure if the Retrospect Addon was allowed, but it has a very long running thread on kodi forums so I thought it must be OK.

I tried and didn't work on my cubox-iNot a very helpful report. What file did you download? What did you do with it? What happened?

I just saw a post on kodi forums saying a user had success with zap2xml - off to google that now.

OK the kodi forums user pointed me to this OpenELEC Mediacenter - OpenELEC Forum - ATSC, Tvheadend and Zap2xml (1/2) - he uses ActivePerl to then use zap2xmlAll credit due to Robca, and it is untested by me!

Frankly the more I look into this the more inclined I am to think you are better to run either mc2xml out xmltv on another computer and transfer the file to LE.

lsusb -vv output might also be useful, but frankly not really interested in helping people with all those banned addons installed!

smbstatus is not included in libreelec. Besides I don't know that it shows protocol version, as opposed to the version of samba in use.
Also kodi does not use samba to connect to SMB sources, it uses its own compiled in version of libsmb, so the version of samba used to serve files from libreelec has nothing to do with the protocol libsmb is using to connect to another server.
In short I think you need to ramp up logging on your server and see what it tells you.

Cool. Can you show us dmesg and a kodi debug log when starting and doing a couple of button presses?
Turn on debugging in Kodi settings, then reboot, then use the remote, then ssh in and run
Both commands will return a URL to your log file online which you should post back here.
