Hi. I am usin Hyperion on Odroid C2, there is a way to change the priority from the v4l2grabber on the hyperion.config.json with some script that can be activate with a remote key or on Kodi itself?
I am using a external frame grabber fushicay, and for external sources (PS3, tv turner) works flawless as long the priority on v4l2grabber is higher that frame grabber from Kodi.
On Libreelec the external grabber leaves to be desire, som images doesn't light, the frame grabber works best.
So my solution it's been changing the priority value for the v4l2grabber when using Libreelec and changing again when using external sources. I am doin that by accessing the hyperion.config.json e mannually change the value.
I need a solution that allow to change the priority value on v4l2grabber that requires me to ssh Libreelec to manually change the file every time.

What is your priority on v4l2grabber?

It is just an application which is supported on OpenELEC (wouldn't this be the same issue then) and piracy was never the intention, even by the developer I guess. Thanks for the hint for using docker, this would truly make LibreELEC more powerful, I always hated the OpenELEC restictions as being a kind of closed OS, but wasn't fan of OSMC either
I managed to get the OpenELEC version of the addon working on LibreELEC though so I am happy for now
Where did you get the version and how you make it work?

It appeared to work fine (24Hz) on a few videos (720p) until I played a H264 1080p video.......it just killed the display and needed to reboot.
I tried it with "Adjust display refresh rate" at "On start/stop" and "Pause during refresh rate change" at 2 seconds.
Unfortunately I don't have too much content to try it with as I'm "watch once and delete" type of person.
Edit: the problem at 1080p could just be my 7 year old plasma tv throwing a spasm.

What happens when you try pass through?
All audio has been send as LPCM to the receiver. DTS and AC3 doesn't work.
My best guess is that the codec information isn't be send to the receiver. If the receiver doesn't know that the codec is AC3 ou DTS he won1t be able to decode. -
Oversun's version doesn't work with frame rate switching. Outside of that, everything else seems to work just fine. Test hour version when you get home to see if it works.
Passthrough doesn't work on Oversun's version.
