why this happens on libreelec? It happens when playing videos with res 1280 or higher.

Have you tried a different HDMI cable? I started getting that and changing the cable fixed it. No idea why but it worked. What's weirder was that the UI is in the right position, just the video is off.
Can you reflash the stock firmware with the Amlogic Burning Tool?

Youtube-dl must have downloaded another version of the video.Anyway, there is a little judder but it's not annoying, to my eyes at least. The VP9 video is smoother.
Unfortunately, I don't have time now to test it with Jarvis.

edit: I just tried playing back the VP9 version and you're right about the S905 not being able to play that! Very slow and 100% CPU usage.

The video is VP9. If I remember correctly, S905 doesn't decode VP9 in hardware. you can check which decoder is used by pressing "o" in your keyboard.
The S905X on the other hand, supports HW VP9 decoding. The video plays smoothly on my S905X box.
Hmm that's odd. Are you running Krypton on your S905x? Cause it plays back fine on my S905 in Jarvis, just not Krypton.

I'm still getting juddery playback on 60fps videos with these Krypton builds which playback totally fine on Jarvis. I'm watching a video now between the 2 builds which is actually 59.940fps and completely smooth on Jarvis and as soon as I flash to Krypton becomes really juddery. Could that be connected to the fractional frame rate issue? I can provide a sample video if needed but it's quite large and ripped from Youtube.
Does anyone no how to fix a issue where playback is zoomed on the top left of the image?

I just started getting that issue too on the same device and it turned out to be a faulty HDMI cable. Changing the cable fixed it for me.
Yeah I was just adding that I get frame skips on 60 and 24fps video. Thought it might be connected.
I'm also getting frame skips on 60fps video with krypton builds too, Jarvis is fine. I can't post any logs (if they'd be helpful?) as I've gone back to 7.0.3.012g, sorry.
Hi Kszaq, have you applied the DVB fixes from the 7.0.3.012a build to this? My DVB-T device seems to be broken in the same way it was before you fixed it with the 012a release.

I think it may have been a fault with the broadcast of Dragon's Den as I haven't noticed it since. I'll keep my eye open and try and record a sample if it pops up again.
Sorry to quote myself here but I think it may still be happening. I have a clip of Dragon's Den from last night, it's not a long clip but it does sometimes show my issues. It doesn't always though so I'm not sure what that's about. As I mentioned earlier the playback is sort of stuttery at times and sometimes shows scanlines when changing cameras, but not always, and not always at the same times when rewatching. I noticed this again earlier on a different channel but wasn't able to get a clip. The weird thing is that MediaInfo says that the file is progressive and not interlaced.
I've uploaded the clip @ Dragons'%20Den.ts It's about a minute long and 50MB.
I tested deinterlacing on a few samples that I have and noticed no such behaviour. Can you provide a sample? Also make sure that you don't have any deinterlacer module parameters set in autostart.sh.

I've just installed beta 2 and I'm not sure deinterlacing is working as it should. It's not showing scanlines most of the time but it feels like it should be smoother, and sometimes as camera shots change you'll briefly glimpse the scanlines. In the "video settings" menu "deinterlacing method" is set to "off" but greyed out. I've just upgraded from 7.0.3.012c and that seemed ok. This is while watching Live TV (Freeview HD in UK DVB-T2).
