Yes, Yatse is the best thing on Android, just love it.
I could not find ANYTHING similar good on iOS, which is quite annoying.

Alright, that worked now, it seems. I checked
TV/Broadcast for about 20 minutes and there
was no problem with the caching anymore.
Thanks a lot, Envagyok and Kszaq.
I will try this tonight.
Thanks, mates.
I have a question about TV/broadcasting:
Since this build (007) the playback of TV streaming
per SimpleTV is not smooth anymore or in other
words: Every 20 - 30 seconds there is a stuttering
or loss in sound and picture.
Playing the files from my NAS as usually, is working
though without a problem. It is just the TV thing.
Well, I am using it from SD card,
not from NAND, but that should be
possible to everybody, I think.
You can boot in recovery and look at the recovery version.
How do I do that? I could not find anything like a power menu in this Android version.
I just pressed the power button on the remote to get only "shutdown" as option.
Check device info in Android, mine shows it in the last line as part of the "build number".
Mine does not, unfortunately.
MXQ-Pro-NEXBOX-201606031859 is my build number in Android.
I used the device tree for MXQ Pro 4K from the 006 update (which is P200, I think), as it was the only one.
Thanks a lot, mate. Update went through.
Broadcasting was gone, but after going to
"System Settings TV Clear Data" it was
working again.
Is not it better to update the device tree,
too?
(I used the Samba shares method.)
I have a Ottbox Nexbox MXQ Pro 4K, too.
How do I know, if I am on P200 or P201?
Btw, reboot works now with 006 and Ottbox MXQ Pro 4K.
Thanks a lot.
Most of those are existing issues found in 005, so don't see a reason to stay on 005. Frankly playback is much better on 006 for some of my files. I don't own a 4K tv so it makes no difference and not to worried about temp reading.
Thanks, I did not know this. Well, I did the update successfully now.
Hi guys,
Alright, I did the update from 005 to 006; it went through
without a problem. Thanks a lot for this.
Btw, did the U-boot geht fixed, meaning is "Reboot" in
menu or power button on remote (hibernate, I guess)
now possible or will that come in the next release? I read
something about that getting fixed by the source.
Anyway, thanks again, mates.
PS Nexbox Ottbox MXQ Pro 4K.
For me one of the key improvements is smooth playback start without 5-10 seconds missing bug. I did not found any new bug to bother me so I prefer the latest 006 build.

Really? That is a good one, but those points scare me a lot:
command. Please don't paste this for 1080p TVs.
And a simple update from 005 is not possible, too, as I read.
It looks like staying on 005 seems the better
option than updating to 006 for now, when
regarding the disadvantages or did I misinterpret
something?
I realized the reboot function does not work on
my box, neither while using the remote nor the
app Yatse.
Is that a general bug or just a problem on my side?
Movies scan went throught, scanning TV now. I hope,
this goes well, too.
Don't delete it (thumbnails) if you've re-scanned already. It will be fine, just(maybe) a bit bigger than it needs to be.
Alright, will do. Movies scan is around 60%. After that
I will scan TV stuff.
It's me, not you. For some reason (brainfade) I had mysql in mind - probably 'cos it was mentioned a few posts up. Yes, of course you're right - just delete the database.
If it were me I'd also be deleting textures.db and the thumbnails folder before re-scanning.
Yes, I deleted textures.db, too, but could not find the thumbnails folder. I will check for that later.
