I've tested the DVB dongle in another PC and it works, but I've also noticed that the antenna plug where it is normally connected has worsened considerably its signal quality, so false alarm. Thank you for the good work, datrh

oki try this one, it seems to be ok.
LibreELEC-X8-X8H.arm-LE9-Kodi_18.1.img
no need to add something via kodi.
let me know.
It works, thank you a lot!
Well, to be honest the kernel sees at least the dongle, and TVheadend recognizes the DVB-T adapter. Now I have to investigate why it doesn't detect any channel, but this I am afraid could be due to some hardware failure in the USB stick. I'll use the dongle on another platform and I'll let you know, eventually.

can you test this one : LibreELEC-X8-X8H.arm-LE9-Kodi_18.1.img
it runs the same dvb drivers as the 17.6 image (no kodi addon) so test it like the way you use the 17.6 image
/sbin/modprobe dvb_usb_dib0700 says again:
modprobe: ERROR: could not insert 'dvb_usb_dib0700': Unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg)
and the last line of dmesg is:
[ 220.392608@3] media: Unknown symbol _GLOBAL_OFFSET_TABLE_ (err 0)
So the module doesn't load. Thanks for the effort, datrh.

try this one and let me know.
OK, the LE Modules Drivers add-on now is there. I've activated it and selected the CrazyCat drivers, then I rebooted. Following the examples in this thread I've run the following command:
Code# /sbin/modprobe dvb_usb_dib0700 modprobe: ERROR: could not insert 'dvb_usb_dib0700': Unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg)
and the only relevant line (the last one) in the dmesg output is:
[ 5956.554595@1] videobuf2_common: Unknown symbol v4l_vb2q_enable_media_source (err 0)
So, thank you, but it seems it doesn't work (which may be my fault, I am not a big expert). I hope the above is meaningful to you.

LibreELEC-X8-H_Plus.arm-LE9-Kodi_18.1.img
can someone test if the fixed ip is solved with this one?
regards
Does this image include also the missing LE Module Drivers? I suppose it's not the case yet.

LE module drivers are missing.
in my to-do list for the next kodi release
Well, thank you datrh for your answer, and even more for your efforts in supporting an otherwise abandoned hardware. Very appreciated!

Hello!
Coming back from the old MINIX forum after a long absence I am again onboard hacking my MINIX X8-H. I've spent a whole day updating the box, and now thanks to dathr's work the thing is up with the latest 18.1 build.
One problem I am having with Leia, which I had not with the previous Krypton build, is that my ElGato EyeTV DVB-T stick is not recognized anymore. The firmware module seems to be in place (it should be dvb-usb-dib0700-1.20.fw ), but there is no kernel module/driver to support the stick. I've read elsewhere in this new forum that DVB-T drivers/modules have been moved in Leia under the add-on "LibreELEC Module Drivers", but I am not able to find it.
Is it a limitation of the current MINIX builds? Where can I find that add-on?
Thanks!
