    Hello,

I upgraded my music server to a Raspberry Pi4B+ 4Gb and kept the Allo Digione transporter to feed the DAC.

I upgraded the OS from LibreElec 9.0.1 w\ Confluence skin to LibreElec 9.2.0, and copied all of the smart playlist files from the old SD card to the new SD card.

The transporter seems to work fine. The old smart playlists work, but they return song lists that are much much shorter than they should be.

I get the same result if I create a new playlist. Genre=Jazz OR Genre=Blues should return close to 4000 songs, but I get 22...

Also, it doesn't play the next song in the que, even though that box is checked in the settings menu.

The music is .flac files on a Samsung 860EVO on a Sabrent USB adapter.

I'm probably doing something stupid here, but I'm not sure what.

Thank You for your kind help,

    Bil

    Hello,

I am in the market for a second RPi Audio HAT, and I'm not that fond of USB in my audio path.

I am reasonably happy with the my RPi3B+Hifyberry Dac+Pro.

I am curious if I will hear a significant sound improvement going to the RPi3B+ and the Allo Digione digital output module.

More importantly for this forum, I am curious if there is good support for this HW combo in LibreELEC ?

I thought that I saw it was official supported when I joined, but was just checking again before pulling the trigger.

    Thank You for the help,

    Bil

Hi Klojam, I updated to LibreELEC 9.0.1 and used the setup interface to enter the path to a new music source as: /dev/sda1 and that did not work. Then I used the path /var/media/FLAC_465_GB and that did it ! Everything seems to function properly.

When my music was stored on flash drives, it seemed like the volumes auto-mounted, however I set that up a while ago and I could certainly be mistaken.

    Thanks for the help,

    Bil

Hello, I am having a problem after I changed the storage drive on my RPi 3B+ music system from 2 ea. Sandisk 256 GB USB flash drives to 1 ea. Samsung 860EVO 500GB SSD on a Sabrent SATA to USB adapter cable. I am using a Hifiberry Dac+ Pro Hat and the RPi 7" touchscreen. I am running LibreELEC 8.2.5. The software lists the songs on the disk, but fails to play them. If I go back to the USB flasb drives, they still work fine.

    Not very experienced at RPi,

I think I'm going to have to pull the micro-SD to read the log files on a PC...

    Thanks for the help.
