  • LFE redirection in pulseaudio

    Hello everyone,

    I have been happy using LE for the last 18 months in my home cinema. I now wish to expand on my setup with a MiniDSP Dirac live processor:

    HomeTheater Series : nanoAVR DL

    My LE is already decoding the audio and outputs simple LPCM on the HDMI port so I am confident that this add-on will work out of the box.

    The MiniDSP unit however does not do bass management. Running the unit between the receiver and the HTPC would put the bass management after the Dirac live processing, which is in the wrong place.

    I was wondering if it is possible to configure the PulseAudio server in LE to enable the bass management in software, before the audio goes out of the HDMI, and thus in the correct place in the chain.

    I know pulseaudio can do it, with the:

    Code
    ; enable-lfe-remixing = yes

    option.

    Is there a way to specify custom pulseaudio settings in LE?
