  • Rpi4 - switching between different resolution HDMI outputs with one click

    Hi, sorry, but was not able to make it work on rpi4 and 19.4 matrix.

    Have beamer with low res and 1280 res TV.

    When I have plugged both devices to connectors on rpi4, every time Kodi detects HDMI0 = TV, it switches from beamer on HDMI1 to TV.

    The only thing your solution makes for me is the start up.

    From the start of rpi when switched to HDMI1, it sends splash screen with LIBREELEC logo to beamer but..

    When initial theme should appear, Kodi detects TV and send the screen again to HDMI0. Beamer has nothing.

    I have ignored CEC for both 0 and 1 in config.txx but was not succesful.

    The only solution working for me is to unplug HDMI0 from rpi (manually) and Kodi auto switches to beamer on HDMI1.

    It seems like Kodi detects both HDMIs and when there is nothing on 0, it uses 1. That would be enough.. but.. switching TV off does not solve detection of TV, it still "is there"..

    Really frustrating to disconnect it all the time. I have spend 3 days playing with it using different distros, but every one has some issue (no DVB support, no source codes, no repo for this, not working CEC and so and so.. On the other hand, what every other distro compared to Libre can do and Libre not is to mirror HDMI outputs.. mission impossible..)

    If duplicating output is nightmare, I thought switching them might be a solution.. Well.. might :) Plugin for this would be VERY WELCOME

  • Wifi Options not accessible in KODI Libreelec wifi setup screen

    RsPI 3b+, Libreelec 9.0.0. Issue in: Libreelec setup plugin in KODI 18.

    I played with WiFi channels trying to find some setup with no collision with BT (not lucky at the end) but I faced one strange situation:

    The same wifi router 2.4 and 5Ghz. On 2.4 I had option possibility for this connection, on 5Ghz there was none. After changing channel on 2.4Ghz in router I was not able to connect to 2.4Ghz wifi even after reboot. I changed password on 2.4Ghz in router and even I deleted this 2.4Ghz connection and arranged search for wifi again and tried to connect, there was already an error in connection. I tried OPEN connection and even with no password, system did not connect.

    Sorry, no LOG, have fresh install and don't want to do it again.. But this BUG is present for unknown reason.. Think best way is to find, why no option to change password is arrearing..

  • No Bluetooth adapter found - Raspi 3+

    These are TWO issues together!

    First: Bluetooth Audio Device Changer

    as mentioned before, this is the reason for No bluetooth device present, Libreelec setup screen hangs an so..

    Second: Broadcom HW/firmware issue with wifi+bt working together. This issue is present almost 5? years, maybe more.. With NO solution till today. There is some "fix", but for me is NOT working. Version: 9.0.0 Leila V18.

    What I suspect is a) absolutely wrong firmware b) HW conflict c) Wrong wifi/bt antennas design

    Result:

    You must buy some wifi or bt USB dongle and turn off one of the feature of Rspi onboard.
