  • TechniSat DVB-PC TV Star HD as second tuner on Wetek Play 2

    Hi,

    I tried to add a second tuner to my Wetek play 2 but I do not get it to work on Libreelec 8.2.5.

    lsus says:

    Bus 001 Device 003: ID 14f7:0500 TechniSat Digital GmbH DVB-PC TV Star HD

    but

    dmesg|grep -iEw 'bug|conflict|corrupted|error|fail|fault|fatal|Lock|NULL|segfault|stack|trace|warn' says:

    12.203610@0] dvb-usb: Technisat SkyStar USB HD (DVB-S/S2) error while loading driver (-12)

    Any ideas?

    Just about to try CoreELEK with the ltest DVB driver and that works!

    So there must be a driver related issue.

  • Many black screen on Wetek Play 2

    Many problems here as well!

    It starts with the "libreelec" splash screen in full resolution. Then the resolution reduces to a quarter for a few seconds, then the picture disapears.

    Somehow I got it work with low resolution, but far away from usable.

    - 4K resolution not available

    - No sound on AAC files

    - 3D films results in a 3d GUI. Changing to 2D ->black screen

    Rolled back ti 8.25 where everything is fine. Never change a winning team... :)
