I'm contemplating the 2GB Le Potato. What is its play/decoding limitation today?
4K? HEVC? 10bit? 30 refresh?

N3060 4GB RAM
LE9 on USB 3
hardware settings on by default & HQ @ 20%
blank other displays
refresh rate dropped to 23.98 in settings
alas, hevc file 23.98 10 bit planar not possible to watch
anything I might try to get it to play ball?
If N3060 not possible, which would be the current 3 "cheapest" devices running HEVC @ 30 refresh in 10 bit ?
Both appear to have (limited) HVEC decoding capabilities IF and only IF the OS has an appropriate driver for it. Otherwise there is no hardware decoding and no game on anything above 1080p.
Question: does LibreELEC have the necessary drivers to call on these SoC's (limited) HVEC decoding capability?
N3060 has Intel HD 400 (braswell)
Z3735F has Bay Trail
Question: has anyone sucessfully played HVEC on either of these SoC's with LibreELEC ? And if so, does one need to get any specific drivers for it to work? Linux VLC on these does not play nice with HVEC (I tried, unwatchable)
Some sources (not al, closed too many tabs too fast):

Intel HD Graphics (Bay Trail) vs Intel HD Graphics 400 (Braswell)
Both N3060 and Z3735F devices work miracles with various low spec linux distros. What can I expect from them running Kodi on a low spec linux, or better LibreELEC ? 4K?
