It was a confluence problem allright, sorry for bothering, solution is replacing the files below:

No it doesen't happen with Estuary or with a couple of other skins I tried (the almost same looking Xonfluence included).

Only with confluence skin..

Included is a sample screen where subtitle synchronization is selected.

The window that pops up when you play a video file and press the subtitles button -that offers options for downloading, synchronizing or changing the subtitles- does not go off when synchronizing or downloading is selected.
