Files are on local hdd with ASrock J3160TM-ITX motherboard, brand new fresh install LE 9. So nothing related to network or addons.
So just the same basic questions again:
1) Is it possible to disable OSD menu when video file is open?
2) I think you all see blue circle for some miliseconds when starting any video. Is there any settings to limit this time? Prebuffer?
I mean to get seamless playback of two files in a row?

Hi,
I have many short video files from my camera & gopro, I would like to play them one by one in the folder. But there are 2 annoying problems:
- there is OSD menu with start of each file for some second (I haven't find any option to disable this menu on latest version LE 9 / Kodi 18)?
- is it possible to set any pre-buffering not to see blue loading circle everytime new file is opened?
Thanks for any hints
Peter

Yes, ultra fast boot is probably just Windows thing.

I did clean install of LibreELEC 9.0 (Leia) and total time is now about 30 sec:) KODI itself starts almost immediately but without any addons.
As stated above I have ASRock J3160TM-ITX, the biggest time takes BIOS boot and LibreELEC boot itself now.
- fast boot enabled (ultra fast boot doesn't work)

Thanks for hints.
After disabling most of the addons, starting time is now about 45 seconds (15 seconds better).
- Power on -> after about 20 seconds Libreelec starting logo -> after another 20 seconds Kodi starting logo
- setting Wait for network took no effect (it was even longer when ON)

Thanks, I was asking mainly in relation to attached logs (I tried to switch off logging in advancedsettings.xml but no effect).
BTW j3160tm-ITX is suitable for camera 4K files on FullHD, HEVC/H265, SATA even with this passive 6W TPD !
Additionally my HDD is 7200.

Hello,
Do you see any space to speed up my current 1 minute booting time (59 seconds from PowerOn to Kodi main screen)?
It is HTPC with asrock j3160tm-itx motherboard and system on 2.5" HDD.
The logs are the following:
systemd-analyze time | pastebinit -> http://ix.io/1xxq
systemd-analyze blame | pastebinit -> http://ix.io/1xxp
journalctl -b 0 | pastebinit -> http://ix.io/1xxo
Thank you for any hint
Peter
