i don't think that it's due age of the Laptop. i have the same issue with a zotac zbox ci540 nano and Libreelec 9.0 .

OK, i try LibreELEC-Generic.x86_64-8.95.002.img.gz, test the 4 choices for DVB drivers but NOK for PCTV310e.

i don't do what you want: i try with Ubuntu 14, frontend attached Zarlink MT352, w_scan -c FR result NOK.

i make a new install of LibreELEC-Generic.x86_64-8.2.0-dvb-1.1.img.gz community DVB 8.2,

frontend attached Zarlink MT352, w_scan -c FR result NOK.

Some ideas???

in Libreelec terminal, i type dmesg | grep frontend, i see:

m920_mt352_frontend_attach+0x34/0x90 [dvb_usb_m920x]

dvb_usb_adapter_frontend_init+0xe9/0x120 [dvb_usb]

dvb_usb: no fronntend was attached by 'Pinnacle PCTV 310e'

so with w_scan, NO USEABLE TERRESTRIAL CARD FOUND

or with Tvheadend no card.

i know that it is an old tuner but it work well on W7.

what can i do please?

in lsmod, i see dvb_usb_m920x but in dmesg, i see dvb-usb: no frontend was attached by 'PinnaclePCTV 310e'.
