Hello,
I am considering building out a system strictly for music playback and I have the following hardware:
Intel NUC DCCP847DYE (old one, I know but I can't imagine I'd need more) with 4GB of DDR3 and 32GB internal storage
Schiit Bifrost multibit DAC which I intend to connect via USB
Given that it's a NUC I'll be using the generic x86/x64 image and want to ensure that using ALSA is an option for the audio system.
I also would like to make sure that the distro that this is built on supports UAC2 for the USB audio connection. The info I found from Schiit says that their DACs should work fine on linux provided that it supports this.
I saw in the libreELEC documentation that there is an option to auto-share external hard drives which should make it easy to move new music to my external drive!
Thanks in advance
