Is that new method for 9.0? So far I tried this: Create remote.conf from scratch without success, remote.conf from 8.2 does not work, when trying to configure from scratch I see no revelant dmesg messages after remote key press.

Nevermind, I managed to run your build on my MXQ Pro. Everything looks fine so far. The only issue is remote not working at all and unable to configure.

What is install procedure for S905? With kszaq Libreelec builds I need to choose proper device tree file and replace it on sdcard. Which device tree to use with your build?

Btw is pvr included? (pvr.hts)

Well, it actually does not work in my case. Btw it seems S905/X support is rather limited currently, kszaq has left and nobody works on S905 support now, I'm looking forward for some stable build with more less all stuff working and no success so far.

I need some advice and help to choose best build for S905X device. What I tested so far:

- kszaq build: No PVR, no access to Libreelec repo (others not tested)

- wrxtasy test build for S905: mp3 playback not supported, most others (like mov, ts playback) not supported.

Can anybody point me some usable working build? Is there any for S905?

Have you solved that? I'm stuck with the same issue. Install to internal succedes, but I can only boot from sd. Boot from internal always fails with black screen

I was really happy with LE build from this thread: [8.2.4.1] LibreELEC Kodi Krypton - S905 & S912 devices

Booted fron SD card it works just fine, so I decided to erase Android system and install LE to internal memory. Installation process without any errors, but device seems to be dead. I'm getting black screen only if no sd card inserted. From sdcard, device boots just fine.

Why am I unable to boot from internal memory? I tried to repeat installation procedure, with the same result. Is there anything else to try?

Is pvr enabled in this build? I tested kszaq build and it has no pvr, also Libreelec repo is dead. How can I get pvr working?

Is there any build suitable for Rockchip 3368? I own Zidoo X6 Pro with this chip, any chance to run LE on it?

Afaik LE never runs on any Rockchip hardware

I recently bought MXQ Pro 4k with Android 7.1 in hope to get cheap box that fully supports Libreelec. Amlogic S905 promised, but I got f***ing Rockchip instead.

It seems some parts are on Amlogic and some others on Rockchip. And they both look the same. Any way to determine before buy? Some details, label or so?

Or anybody could rocommend some other box with similar price as mxq, that is sure to be on Amlogic and fully supported.

Any thoughts?
