Same here with my Mxq pro 4K.... stuck at boot beginning (black screen) with 006... OK with 005.
Maybe because we use first version of Mxq pro 4K...? for example, OE release is different pour first version, or next version of device...

Do you owne first release of Mxq pro 4K like me?

Not sure what version of mxq pro .it has 8189 ftv wifi drivers which is not available in .005 build.

This looks like faulty internal memory partition as being stuck on that screen means that even ramdisk hasn't loaded. Is this the same with .005?

Nope with .005 all is ok except no wifi as mine has 8189 ftv wifi drivers which is missing in .005 build.is it possible for u to add that driver into .005 as .006 is not working for me with librelec installed in nand using script most of time i get librelec splash screen stuck and no kodi.

    Sorry, some internal testing leftovers.

Here's a build that should have it all working: LibreELEC-S905.aarch64-7.0-devel-20160830160706-r23311-g51fe9ae.img.gz

kszaq ,Is this test build for sd card boot or nand install. I cant install 006 build in nand of my mxq pro 4k box.does this have fixed issues installing it in nand?
Pls provide link to test nand install build pls.i will try that.

    Testing this build.
    Works well on a minim8s
I still have the jerky audio on usb. Will keep trying.
If anyone has pointers to help track the problem, I'm read for some CLI commands ;)

ah! just found a workaround for this . at least with my box.
what i did was prepare the SD card for the LE 06 on NAND as described. then renamed the file recovery.img to kernel.img
it boots with the green droid saying installing system update... watch the sreen, as soon as it reboots pulled the card out. LE 6 is then installed.
i can imagine you could also remove the factory_update_param.aml to go into recovery directly. hope this helps and thnx all for the support!

I tried ur steps but android recovery process happens blue bar progress to 25 percent than box reboots.i remove sd card.then black screen ,no display in tv.then i have to use usb tool to recover to android.any other suggestions.

Same problem for me: with the sd inserted I cannot go to recovery and nothing flash but I resolve in this way: prepared for nand installation as described, switch the box on without sd in, went to recovery, put the sd in and then select "install update from ext"

I did that too.went to android recovery with toothpick, choose the zip file from sd ,it installs then when reboot the box ,no display on tv and box gets bricked.cant access android recovery either.i have to use usb too to recover to android .

If you want to flash anything to NAND you have to have recovery.img and dtb.img from original Android firmware on your SD card.

I have recovery.img and dtb.img from android fw foe box plus ledtb.img from ur tree for mxq pro but wouldn't flash into nand.
It boots fine from sd card though.
Again ur 005 build installs in nand fine so something different in librelec 006 build for this mxq pro box.
Possible for u to just add wifi drivers for 8189 ftv wifi in 005 build as this works perfect for this box.
    Thanks for ur help.

    Delete aml_autoscript and try again.

You can try not deleting dtb.img, although in that case USB port and Ethernet might not work. Also make sure that you have the latest Android version installed before trying LE.

I deleted aml-autoscript in sd card and flashed.
Flash starts but goes in loop.i mean flash progress finish ,reboots and flash again starts.box get bricked and i used usb burning tool to recover to android.

No ETA. The only thing I can say for sure is: this month.

There is no remote.conf in my builds for any box. It is copied from Android firmware from internal memory. If you don't have Android with proper remote.conf before installing LE, your remote won't work and you need to copy it manually. Once you copy it to Configuration folder, it will persist during updates. This is covered in release notes.

Thanks . looking forward to new build with wifi drivers.
    Appreciate ur work.
