Hello all,

it is not really a bad problem, but probably
someone give me a hint to stabilize / fine tune
my system.

On my Media PC (Ryzen 1700, 16GB Ram, 240GB M2-SSD) using
a Technotrend S2-4600 usb tuner the vdr-backend and the VNSI

frontend are running on the same machine. I'm not watching tv from
a other devices on my Lan.

When I lost connection I turn off and turn on my system and it works like expected.
I´m running the latest stable LibreElec version with the dvb-device firmware I have
downloaded from the LibreElec github repo.

you are right.
Only when I watching and record channels with the same transponder this works.

Hello all,

i have installed VDR on my Media-PC for watching and recording dvb-s2
(Satellite) channels.

I have one question:

I have a single sat-tuner (TechnoTrend S2-4600) with one sat cable directly

connected with the sat-lnb. (It is a simple twin-lnb, one cable to the first floor

and one cable to the second floor - no SCR (Unicable) config)

It is possible to watch and record different channels at the same time?
I tried this, but the channel i´m watching stops when the recording starts.
Is this only possible when the two channels send their signals both horizontal
or both vertical (I know the reseiver must provide different voltages for horizontal
and vertical transmitted channels)

I´m asking this question because it makes me wonder, why this works with my
parents reseiver (they live on the first floor). It is a reseiver frome the
"Deutsche Telekom" with a Magenta tv contract (I do not know the type / manufacturer).
