firmware upgrade did not help, but it was worth a shot.
my bug report with full-debug logs now moved to LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 18.0)
therefor I mark this thread as resolved. thanks!

ah thanks, my bad. i will take my issue to the kodi forum then.
so the logs i attached in the code-section are not enough, correct? i would need to enable the debug mode first? ok, will do
You are right, the cec adapter firmware is not the latest (v4 2012-12-06), there is a v7 2017. I guess i will try updating it first.
Thank you!
Hallo,
I noticed a regression in the CEC Volume Controls.
Starting from Milhouse Build #1107 I no longer can control the volume of my AMP from withing kodi (+/- Keys on the keyboard)
Instead it just adjusts the internal kodi volume. Audio-Passthrough still works fine.
But while Audio-passthrouh is active (i.e. when playing a video), the volume keys do nothing but show the volume indicator, the indicator itself does not change in this case.
I am using the Pulse-Eight USB-CEC-Adapter on regular x86_x64 hardware.
here are some versions I tested until I found the breaking build with some logs.
#0916 OK
#1101 OK
#1106 OK http://ix.io/1uEZ
#1107 Bad http://ix.io/1uET
#1108 Bad
#1110 Bad
#1113 Bad
#1126 Bad
Side note: Adjusting the volume via the RPC-Webapi was always only controlling the kodi internal volume, never my AMP. Would be cool to see that fixed too
Cheers,
keydon
