Black and orange.
This is the different my remote is old version only black.
I have installed this version from your link. I didn't install the display drivers and everything run perfect. Your remote config file do not work for me. I have to generate a new one for my remote.
Your remote is only color black or black and orange??
So...
I installed this libreelec version to my neighbor's GTC Box today.Everything run good.I did not install any display drivers.Do I need to do it, or may be they are included in this build?
If you have installed libre-chroma 825 and want display working you can.
Dear linch
Is there any chance, to get Internel tuners to work with Libreelec?
Hi,
we must hope on some developer with gtc box......
have you try change hdmi cable or port ??
linch
in which folder I copy this file p231_2g.zip
Put it into sdcard root and rename it as dtb.img
how could he install the newest oscam
I send you a private message on freesat forum.
one doubt that I have with this version of libreelec I can watch videos or channels in crhoma 4: 2: 2
I'm seeing channels (dvb-t) and videos without problems.
And your terminal is connected to a virtual usb com port ?
[edit]
Oh wait, I understand, you installed an terminal app on the GTC
Yes terminal emulator android app and a usb keyboard for first libreelec setup.
How do I boot my GTMedia GTC from sdcard ?
I see 4 solder pads in a square on the bottom of the pcb. It looks like a switch can be mounted there. It's labeled 6SW1.
Is this the switch which resides behind the jack plug on a lot of 905 boxes ?
I soldered a little microswitch on the back of the pcb on the place labeled 6SW1. It works, I can boot from SD now !
No need open the box. I have installed Terminal emulator app put the microsd with libreelec into the box and from terminal emulator app start with command reboot update.
if you have the files in /storage/Gtc_Display_Driver/openvfd
you need command
chmod -R 755 /storage/Gtc_Display_Driver/openvfd
now if all ok go into openvfd directory with
cd /storage/Gtc_Display_Driver/openvfd
and now you can start
sh install.sh
reboot the box.
This procedure work only with libreelec 8.2.5.
I do not understand these steps
2- Unzip and copy folder into your GTC in /storage directory
3- chmod 755 to all file into the display folder
--------
2 --Copy the GTC Display_Driver folder, in the original storage directory android
Hope now more clear for you.
Display Morewhere I find
LibreELEC-S905.arm-8.2.5-Chroma.422.10bit.img
what would be the steps to install the GTC_Display_Driver.zip driver
Libreelec
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1gizr_hbfjbki_u6at7ew6kqmo5dl0w6h/view?usp=sharing
For display driver
1- download package from here MEGA
2- Unzip and copy folder into your GTC in /storage directory
3- chmod 755 to all file into the display folder
4- from librelec shell (you can use putty for this) go into display directory and launch sh install.sh
5- reboot the box
there is no USB DDBridge device out there
Hi CvH,
sorry i not understand....my box have cxd28xx demod with 2 integrated dvb-s/dvb-t2/c tuner. Searching on g@@gle cxd28xx would be support from ddbridge drivers ?? or not ??
Regards
Hi to all ppl,
please someone point me to an s905 firmware with DDbridge driver i want test these drivers with my GTC box with built-in tuners that are cxd28xx (ddbridge ???). I'm searching on forum but with no luck. Only image for other platform.
I try libre 9 for aml S905 but drivers are not present. So i try recompile package from libre source but make output say somenthing like Package Unsupported.
Thanks and regards.
Thanks for the info. But, if you are going to run Libreelec only, & the internal tuner doesn't work, why not get another box & use an external tuner?
Have you tried setting up the internal tuner using crazycat drivers?
Yes i try Crazycat drivers but tvheadend and libreelec not recognized internal tuners. I think we need ad hoc dtb, if some developers want see it, i have attached original dtb, and add driver support as developer afl1 do for k1-k2 pro sometimes ago. I pay this box 55 euro and for me it's ok with libreelec and external dvb-t dongle for live tv and some other kodi addon, opensource firmware is welcome etc. I have so an a Mecool bb2 pro with libreelec and it work like a charm. I love libreelec because you can install it on micro sd with a clean dual boot and when i want restart to stock firmware.
@ The Coolest (aka DisplayMAN)
I want say a very very big thanks for your support and hard work on add support to GTC Display Driver.
For who is interest i have open a dedicated thread for GTC users but here users can dowload The Coolest drivers.

Developers not respond and no support the GTC users.
This box have good hardware specs s905D, ram 2gb, rom 16gb.
It have an gxl_p231_2g board, dvb drivers will be cxd28xx ( DDbridge ??)
for who is interest i have attached dtb decompiled.
At the moment i have MicroSD install:
LibreELEC-S905.arm-8.2.5-Chroma.422.10bit.img
This version work ok for me, big thanks to libreelec developers, so i have create the remote.conf file attached ( put it into /storage/.config and rename to vfd.conf and after restart the box remote work).
So i want say a very BIG THANK to libreelec developer The Coolest. He add support
for GTC display driver working on Libreelec 8.2.5, the drivers can be installed with an easy shell command
