you can ofc install WIndows10 and run Kodi there - this might work

just open these files and copy the content to pastebin.com

then better no S905/S912/Rockchip Box in the current state - this might work in an half year onwards but not today
If you want something faster then the S905 Box you already have you are rather forced to Rk3399 or x86.
If you need "speed" and a proper stable support today then x86 is your choice.
Intel NUC Kit NUC7CJYH for example is rather cheap (you need 4gb RAM and USB/SD/M2/SSD) so you are around 150-160 (depending where you buy it).

you could manually set the time each time (not really a solution i guess)
otherwise you could get an rtc shield (2-6€) for the RPi and get the time from the RPi (also not really ideal)
do you just have no internet or no connection ? do you have access to your router ?

not sure if you use it or not - did you adjusted the white list with resolutions and HZ of your screen?
I am not sure if these switch times are normal or not - could you maybe with the Windows Version of Kodi try it too if they are similar ?

"perfect" settings are (FHD + DVB at the EU)
set the Kodi Gui to 1920x1080, set to 50 Hz.
whitelist 1080p/60/50/23,98
and pls try again - you should have similar speeds to LE8
