That's normal, as you don't build an official version in sense of done by LE you will always have an devel version. You can set the version under config/version from devel to 9.0.x that would give you at least that version. Image is still the same besides that version.

try to install it and then send us a log
Please provide a full debug log.How to post a log (wiki)1. Enable debugging in Settings>System Settings>Logging2. Restart Kodi3. Replicate the problem4. Generate a log URL (do not post/upload logs to the forum)
use "Settings > LibreELEC > System > Paste system logs" or run "pastekodi" over SSH, then post the URL link -

it is also fixed with 9.0.1 (released soon)

you could try to remove screensaver..... addons, they are complain at log and maybe they are the cause
-
there are no addons at the moment for the milhouse builds, sry
-
just adding, we ship what Kodi provides, all QA is done by kodi - aka basically zero
so things might be very unstable for a long time
-
this is the intended behaviour of Kodi, tbh I have no idea too
pls open a thread at the kodi forum
-
you can also overclock your RPi3/3+ then it works too
-
this explains how you have to use it

Vielleicht hat ja eine Idee woran es liegt und wie man das fixen kann.
tldr profiles are heavily broken at kodi, they are even more broken at LE because we have to use Kodi profiles and there are several ways it breaks
If you use no LE addons it may work okayish - as soon you install LE addons you have a good chance it fails.
Is no good situation that such basic stuff is fubar but nothing we can fix at this moment.

Try again, I updated the addons and you should get version 4.7.1.0.
You need to setup the addon (ip etc) and then do a restart. Its a strange behaviour, but likely intended by kodi for some reason.

uh, tried it and failed too
I investigate

Pls try the crazycat drivers from the driver chooser (described at the news artice at the website), they should support that device.

You can use the Emby Server addon for such tasks. It works pretty awesome for that usecases.
